stormytiger4 said:They led 60% of the laps, grabbed 60% of the wins, and locked down 75% of those pole positions. They also snagged half of the fastest laps, and they’re the only squad this season that’s managed to dodge everything except for one single DNF. Honestly, God willing, we get another five or six years where the rest of the field stays just as non-existent.

Bravo Simon Cowell!!!
stormytiger4 said:Mercedes looks like they might actually take this one... I really hope they don't, or at least that they aren't going to go all dominant on us like they have the last few seasons.
I was just reading that Wolff is openly bashing that ugly Halo design and calling everyone out to find some better alternatives.

What happened to the colors?

Last one laughing laughs the hardest 😁

Back during the testing thread, I mentioned that even if Ferrari built a truly competitive car, they’d likely trip themselves up—whether through development issues, mistakes on the pit wall, or driver errors. Even if they actually pulled it off, Hamilton would still walk away as champion because the Mercedes was simply the superior car.
The only thing I missed was how much Bottas would struggle. He's performing significantly worse than I anticipated; Hamilton is outclassing him by nearly 100 points. He isn't quite as bad as Kimi Räikkönen, but he's definitely not what I expected.

If you didn't find it interesting, that's perfectly fine.
And when was the USA Grand Prix held?
Was it at the start of the season, or toward the end?
Besides, by now, you already know who's going to take the title this season.
No one expected Ferrari to close the gap on Mercedes. They've improved significantly, but it just isn't enough, and the results prove it.
Nobody expected Ferrari to close the gap on Mercedes—they've improved big time, sure, but it's just not enough, and the results prove it.

Between 2014 and 2016, at least we had the Hamilton-Rosberg rivalry, but this year we don't even have that.
Back when Red Bull was dominating, those races were probably my favorites, especially since Alonso kept things interesting by staying right in the mix.
The team shifts back in 2009 were pretty exciting, and Red Bull really started gaining momentum during the second half of the season.
I didn't mind Ferrari's dominance during those years because the cars looked and sounded phenomenal, and there were some great races—at least for me. It was definitely better than this current season.
northerncobra31 said:Honestly, this is the most boring Formula 1 season I've ever watched. I don't think I'll remember a single race from this year.
The champion was basically decided at the start of the season. Valtteri Bottas just hasn't been consistent enough to put any real pressure on Lewis Hamilton like Rosberg used to. Ferrari started out strong, but they always seem to fall apart mid-season for whatever reason.
Red Bull is waking up too late, and everyone else on the grid is just too far behind anyway.
Timothy Castillo6 said:So, after three absolutely disastrous races for the Red Bull guys, we’ve got a new—or rather, a returning—World Series champ heading into the 2017 Formula 1 season.
DESERVED? I’ll let you guys fight it out in the comments...
