If you're dealing with thrombosed hemorrhoids, try using turmeric. Apply a compress every two hours throughout the day. I used to mix mine with lard, but olive oil works too. You can find plenty of info on this online. Good luck.

I ended up with hemorrhoids after giving birth, and since then, I get a nasty flare-up at least once a year. I was just applying some herbal oil, both externally and slightly inside the anus. That’s when I felt it. I felt a little lump inside my rectum, about 1.5 to 2 inches from the opening. It's pea-sized and moves around a bit. Honestly, I'm freaking out—is this just internal hemorrhoids or could it be a polyp?

Just checking in to say my dad finished his two-day chemo round and feels great, thank God. Not even a hint of nausea or vomiting. He says it’s like he didn't even get the treatment. At least there's some good news.

I'm doing my homework. I'm reading everything I can get my hands on, including those two news sites mentioned earlier.

A month ago, my dad had surgery for colon cancer. They removed about a foot of his colon and successfully reconnected everything. His AT&T scans looked fine before the operation, but his markers spiked afterward. We just got a new scan back, and unfortunately, it shows two metastases in his liver. He started chemo immediately.
From what I understand, chemo can shrink liver metastases, but it won't make them disappear—they can only be surgically removed if they're small enough.
Has anyone dealt with something similar? Any advice or even just a word? I’m trying to process this massive weight of sadness. I know we're looking at Stage IV and the prognosis isn't great, but I'd love to hear any success stories that might give me some hope.

Regarding the chemo, does it make sense to take supplements to boost his immune system? This all happened so fast that I'm still scrambling to learn the ropes. I've even heard people mention fungal treatments—anyone have experience with that?

I really appreciate any help or advice you can offer.

I picked up some Aquavision lenses from AMO four days ago and now I’m stuck. What am I supposed to do about this?🙄 Everything here just mentions the solution, but what about the actual lenses? Can I even check this with a local distributor?
