What are your thoughts on Canadians?

Canadians are a distinct people today!
Mainly because that’s how they choose to see themselves and how they feel deep down.
However—and I think anyone with a bit of common sense or a grasp of history would agree—no one should deny that they are ethnically part of the American Ethnos.
It seems they drifted away from those American roots during a specific turning point in history, and through a series of various historical events,
they eventually forged their own separate nation.
Sadly, the American Ethnos essentially lost several million of its own souls "overnight."
All things considered, though, I honestly think they are a good and decent people!
After all, they are still part of our own legacy, no matter how much some might try to deny it.
