What should I get for a godparent gift at a Baptism?

My son’s starting his own business in two weeks. I'm not looking to drop a fortune on some massive gift. Just gonna whip up a nice lunch at home for the family and close friends without all the extra fluff. Honestly, these "traditions" feel pretty pointless to me... feels like people just do them to show off to the neighbors. Like the kid has to get a brand new truck or some other ridiculous thing just so someone can go into debt over it. It's totally unnecessary.
