By the way, that AOC uses an MVA panel, not IPS. It's actually decent for gaming. Not sure why American retailers are listing it as IPS.
EDIT: looks like they offer both versions...
Did some reading and turns out the old MVA panels had too much ghosting, so they switched to IPS and dropped the input lag to 2.8ms. Also, there's a third-party Elvis Presley mount adapter on Amazon for $30, so that's not an issue either. I'm grabbing it. Thanks for the tip.
If anyone wants more details on this monitor, everything is right here:

Alright, thanks. My budget is pretty flexible though. I wouldn't mind going up to $2,000 if the value is actually there. ^^

Thanks for the info. Do you know any other monitors similar to yours that actually have VESA mounts?
Does FreeSync work with Nvidia cards, or is it strictly an AMD thing?
wiredotter14 said:Not sure why you'd pick that one. $500 It's just a 27" 1080p TN panel, looks like there's no FreeSync support either.

Isn't 5ms a bit slow for gaming?

Hey, looking for some monitor recommendations around $500. I mostly use my PC for gaming and watching stuff. Specs are an Intel Core i5-8400 and an EVGA GeForce RTX 2060.
I was looking at this but everyone seems to say to stay away from TN panels.
Changed the thermal paste about three months ago. I also blow out the dust once a month.
Can't really verify much since the whole thing just dies under load immediately lol. Ran an OCCT power supply test last night and it shut down after two seconds flat. I already ordered a Fortron Hexa + 400 w, so hopefully I can figure out the installation. Just praying it has all the same connectors as my current one.
It's the same deal with these CPU and GPU pins. It says 4+4 and 6+2, so does that mean they can be split up?
It’s a 24-pin motherboard, thanks for the help 🙂
Will this power supply work on an older PC? Are all the connectors standardized? I don't have anyone I can borrow one from to test it out.
So, I'm guessing the PSU is the culprit since it keeps cutting out under heavy load. The PC is about 7 or 8 years old and is still running on its original power supply. It just shuts down right in the middle of a heavy task and won't boot back up until I flip the switch on the back of the unit off and then back on. It’s a Modec Feel 400 w. If anyone can confirm it's definitely the PSU, let me know—and if it is, hit me with some solid recommendations for a replacement.
What's your take on the Razer Deathadder?
I've been playing online games for a long time now, mostly stuff like Call of Duty 2 and Call of Duty 4, but I’m looking to get more serious about it. That means I need actual gear. I'm looking for recommendations on a keyboard, a mouse, and some 5.1 surround sound headsets. I can drop up to $600 $233 per item. Thanks in advance.
Not sure if this is the right sub to post in. Admin, please move this if it belongs somewhere else.
I mean, I don't really know myself
How do I overclock an Intel Celeron? My current speed is sitting at 1832.7 MHz... anyone got tips?
