I remember seeing this one setup—mostly behind the altar area—where they had this incredible table display. It looked like a little boat made out of appetizers, or maybe it was all fancy mirrors? Honestly, I can't quite recall the exact details, but I am absolutely obsessed with it and I can't find the thread again! Please, please, please help me out if anyone remembers which forum member it was!
Was that setup over by the Vestibul hotel (right behind Times Square)? I remember a few couples doing catering with those mirror displays in that area...
Does anyone happen to know anything about this makeup artist, Kate Bush? A few friends have been raving about her, but I haven't heard a single word about her in these circles... is she just flying under the radar here?
We ended up deciding to switch venues after all, mostly because once we actually sat down to crunch the numbers on paper, the original plan was just way too expensive. In the end, we settled on Fabula... only 40 bucks including drinks! 😉
Does anyone here have any firsthand experience with them?
I stopped by the expo, though I can't say it particularly blew me away... I did manage to snag a few flyers with some discounts, though ($167 such as deals at Casablanca Bridal, 15% off cash purchases at Tiffany & Co., 20% off cakes at Zenith, and 20% off at Tiffany & Co.)...

They're sending us a DVD of some past weddings by mail since we aren't living in San Francisco... have you ever worked with them? Do they require a deposit?
You can just check out their website; there are a few videos posted there that should give you an idea. I went to see them perform once, and the guys seemed perfectly fine to me...they took a $100 deposit.

I’ve heard there are tons of them scattered all over the place, but I have no clue what the actual selection is like or if the service is even any good. And honestly, what are we looking at when it comes to the price tags? Help me out!!
Well, they aren't exactly popping up on every corner... I've personally checked out three shops, which seems to be about all there is...
Helen, Ann, and Mike... those are the ones... they tend to be more budget-friendly than what you'd find in San Francisco...
As far as the service goes, the ladies there are incredibly sweet, if that's what you're looking for.. 🙂

I have to agree with Taylor Swift 🙂
I’ll probably show up strictly for the rings, and even then, only because they're having a sale. 🙂😉
Since I'm actually working there, I wouldn't be the one to 🤣🤣 regarding the pricing, but they do offer an option for a massive buffet with endless selections, which comes to $137 excluding drinks.🙄
Well, we finally pulled the trigger and booked Volar, so now we wait... I've heard from a few independent sources that they’re actually quite talented, so let's see if they can truly deliver 🙂
I’m trying to track down a bit of information here... regarding the Volare band... has anyone actually seen them perform live, or perhaps caught them playing at a wedding or some kind of catered event?
