This movie is just Nolan's way of showing off.
I ran into some similar themes in the novel Hyperion, so I didn't have to strain my brain too much trying to grasp the core concept. That said, the character motivations are a total disaster—honestly, the main villain's motive is so poorly handled it’s almost laughable.
Nolan claims it took him ten years to turn his ideas into something coherent. Well, mission accomplished, I guess. 🤣

The only people actually hyping this film up are Nolan's immature fans who would probably tell him his garbage smells like roses.
