How to master lucid dreaming?

I think I follow your logic now. It isn't all that strange; I often find myself waking up a few minutes before my alarm goes off whenever I have to get up early. Your situation is particularly fascinating because it seems your "internal clock" possesses an audible component;😁 your subconscious clearly recognizes whether an alarm has been set or not, simulating the sound only when it anticipates the real thing.😉
There is, of course, the alternative possibility that the alarm actually begins to ring, and you—being quite lazy—simply stay asleep, causing the sound to bleed into your dream state. However, I will rule that out, assuming you check the clock the moment you wake up to see if the alarm just started or if it has been blaring for quite some time.
That is exactly the point; this psychological stuff is far too convincing... 😁
As for me, the moment that alarm hits, I am wide awake, though I suppose even a fly buzzing past my face could probably startle me at this point...
