Opening a foreign currency account...

So, I need to pick something up online and I’m going to need a foreign currency account to make it happen. I don't actually have any use for one otherwise, so I'm wondering how long it takes to close one out once I'm done, and if there's some kind of fee attached to closing it. I was thinking about just opening it at Chase, if that matters.
