JPMorgan Chase Go!Card help? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Kimberly Nguyen said:I don't even know where to start with this mess. Honestly, I’m sitting here staring at my screen, just absolutely fuming. You see these things happen, and you think, "Surely, it can't get any more ridiculous," and then—BAM—reality hits you right in the face. It’s unbelievable. It’s frankly insulting. I was looking through the recent discussions, and I saw what was being said. It’s like nobody actually stops to think about the practical implications of these decisions. They just throw things out there without a second thought, and then we're all left picking up the pieces. It’s maddening! I remember back when I was working in Chicago, dealing with some massive corporate restructuring at a firm similar to JPMorgan Chase, and even *that* chaos had more logic than what we're seeing here. At least back then, people seemed to have a shred of common sense. Now? It feels like we're just spinning our wheels in the mud. And don't even get me started on the way certain people are being handled. It's a joke. A complete and total joke. You try to make a point, you try to bring some actual substance to the table, and you just get shut down or ignored. It makes you want to just throw your hands up and walk away. But I won't. I can't. Because if someone isn't going to stand up and call out this nonsense, then who will? It’s frustrating, it’s exhausting, and quite frankly, it’s beneath us. We deserve better than this constant cycle of incompetence. It's enough to drive a person insane.

From what I understand about how these things work, you aren't just getting a free pass. You’re going to be shelling out that $5,000 over the next 12 months—meaning they'll hit your account with those fees immediately—and then, to make matters even worse, you still have to deal with the interest on top of everything else. It's a total headache.

Why wouldn't it go through? If I buy something worth $5000 say, on a 24-month installment plan, would that still fail?😕

I have an approved credit limit on my Chase card $1667 but I'm looking to refresh my home decor and need more than what's available, maybe around $5000. If I make the purchase, will it process normally through the card using an installment plan?😕
