Oh, I almost forgot to mention—I haven't actually installed Service Pack 1 yet. Could that be part of the problem?
No, no, there isn’t any yellow icon; everything looks fine on my end. Ah, okay, I think I can manage to get this sorted out somehow... hopefully. Hmm. Anyway, thank you so much for all the hard work and for taking the time to help me out. 😉 🙂
Yeah, I found it super weird too—like, the audio starts working just fine, but then there’s absolutely no video. It’s like when you pick up a Skype call, the sound kicks in immediately and the other person can hear everything perfectly, but the second you try to toggle the camera on, the whole system just hits a Blue Screen of Death and dies. It basically forces Skype into an offline state. Plus, if I try using the actual webcam software to mess with the settings, I get that preview window where you're supposed to see the feed, but the exact same thing happens: as soon as the video tries to load, boom, blue screen, and the program crashes. As for the physical button on the device itself, that’s just for taking basic snapshots. If I open the camera app and hit that button, it’s supposed to snap a photo, but man, everything worked flawlessly back when I was running Windows XP.
Yeah, I already tried doing a full uninstall and then reinstalled the latest version, but it’s still acting up. Oh, I totally forgot to mention—the camera actually has the microphone built right into it. The audio works perfectly fine; it's just the video feed that's being glitchy.
Hey everyone!
So, I’ve run into a bit of a headache. I have a machine running Windows 7, and I'm testing out an upgrade, but now the webcam just won't cooperate. I've already installed the driver, but the second I try to turn the camera on, the whole system just crashes into a Blue Screen of Death. It’s like this loop—we try to get the connection established, things seem to be moving along okay for a split second, and then—bam—blue screen, and everything shuts down. It’s like trying to start a car that dies the moment you hit the gas. Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this and get the camera working properly? Thanks!
Thanks a ton for getting back to me so quickly.
Oh, I also meant to ask—how long did it take for your Chase credit card to actually get approved?
Thanks for all the input.
I have a quick question. I’m looking into getting that Go card, and I was browsing the JPMorgan Chase website. It says, "fill out the application and drop it off at a JPMorgan Chase branch," but it doesn't actually list what extra paperwork I need to bring along with the application—unlike their other products where they lay everything out clearly. Does anyone know what you guys had to hand over when you submitted yours? I’m just trying to guess what the requirements might be so I'm prepared.
P.S. I run my own small business.
Thanks!
