Hey everyone...
Does anyone know where I can find some official info regarding cancellation rights for accommodation bookings?
Here’s the situation:
It was an individual travel booking.
We already paid a deposit—about 30% of the total cost.
Then, just two days after we sent the money, the people I booked for had a sudden change of plans.
I let the "owner" know as soon as I found out—which was 17 days before the guests were actually supposed to arrive.
What do you all think? Is it worth asking for a partial refund or some percentage back?
And where could I look up the actual rules on this?
