Best offshore sportsbooks for online betting? in Betting Forum ·
Arthur Grant5 said:thanks for the reply, Chloe Martinez84.

got a few more questions... to get that Bank of America debit card, do I need to open a whole new foreign currency account, or can I just link it to the one I already have?

and is there like a monthly fee or whatever for just having the card?

I guess I'm not sure if you can just use your current account for the card. Honestly, your best bet is probably just asking at the local branch. As far as I know, there isn't a monthly fee for the card itself, but you should expect to pay some small fees when you're moving money between things like Skrill or from a sportsbook back to your account.

Arthur Grant5 said:So... I'm trying to get into online betting, and I've hit a wall. I have my checking and savings accounts at Chase, so I figured I'd just use those for my first deposit. I went into two different branches and even sent an email to their customer service people... and they all keep insisting that sending money to online accounts isn't allowed by law. The support staff actually told me that transferring funds abroad requires approval from the Federal Reserve... which sounds like total nonsense to me.

Can anyone who’s actually done this explain how to get my cash moved?

Here's the move: go down to Chase and tell them you want to open a foreign currency account paired with a Visa Electron debit card. With just that card, you should be able to send yourself funds to a Moneybookers account, or maybe just use the card directly to transfer money to the sportsbook.
I actually just got an email from Moneybookers saying they signed a deal with JPMorgan Chase, so you can probably just wire it straight from there to your Moneybookers account and then use that for basically any site out there. 😉
Common misconceptions (and how to fix them) in Philosophy ·
The whole issue basically stems from how we teach kids today. We just dump a mountain of info and random ideas on them, but we totally fail at actually making them care, you know? Like, nobody’s actually being taught to dig deeper or find that genuine hunger for knowledge through their own curiosity.
With people like that, philosophy doesn't even mean a love for wisdom or truth anymore. It’s pretty much a foreign concept. But honestly, that’s exactly what we need right now—something to help clear up all the nonsense and misconceptions floating around.
