It feels like every time I turn on the TV, the rights for my favorite games have migrated to some random streaming service or a different network entirely. I'm starting to wonder if we're just going to end up paying for five different subscriptions just to follow a single season. Does anyone else feel like watching sports is becoming a full-time job for your wallet?

Is there enough space on the hard drive?
There’s plenty of room.
I just ran into an error I don't think I encountered during the initial extraction—though that might be because I just bumped my RAM up by 2GB (it was sitting at a meager 500MB previously, which made everything much more sluggish):
Windows XP Service Pack 3 must be installed before setup can continue. Please install Windows XP Service Pack 3 and run Setup again.
It'll be quite something if I can't even manage to download Windows XP service pack 3...

I'm running into the issue mentioned in the title. To be honest, I don't know much about this side of things, so I'm struggling to explain it clearly. Every time I try to download something, I get an error message, or the file just ends up being incomplete.
I'm currently using Windows XP with 2.5 GB of RAM.

Usually, you find the model by looking for a name followed by some string of letters, numbers, and dashes—doesn't always have to be everything—but on this photo, the model is right there at the top center.

feralskipper5 said:Honestly, you should just check your motherboard first—then you can Google what tech it uses (like which DDR) and the max frequency it can actually handle.
Since you're rocking half a GB, I'm guessing it's DDR2.
If I remember right, the model number should be printed right on the board somewhere.
I opened the case, and it clearly states DDR2 inside.
It also lists Model No.: ATX-350PNF
AC INPUT 220-240V, 4A, 50 Hz
DC OUTPUT 350 W

I just need to double-check if it still works though, since it's been sitting around for a long time.
I'm based in Washington, D.C. Will the information I provided above suffice? I attempted to download the application, but I've run into an issue where I can't actually launch the installer. I'm having this same installation trouble on this very machine...

Andrew Peterson2 said:Man, you’ll probably have a harder time finding a shoulder to lean on—maybe try looking on Craigslist... though why bother when you could just grab something new? You can find plenty of solid options from $667...
Anyway, if it's just for basic multimedia stuff, you'll be fine.

I don't even have $67, let alone 2000 🙂. Fine, I can check Craigslist, but what exactly should I be looking for?

As for how much you'll need... I guess it really just depends
Which version of Windows are you running? If you're on Windows 10, you probably want at least 8GB of RAM—though I suppose 4GB might cut it if you aren't exactly pushing your system too hard with heavy apps

Thanks!
I'm running Windows XP.
How much RAM do I need?

My PC is running on a mere 0.5 GB of RAM, and honestly, it’s become completely unusable. I'm trying to figure out how to determine exactly how many gigabytes I should upgrade to, and also how to identify which DDR standard I'm currently using. Do I actually need to crack open the case and inspect the hardware manually, or is there a more efficient way to find this information via software?
Thanks.
Thanks.
