Michelle Flores40 said:The guy’s a nut job—Colbert actually has some sense. He's got a shred of responsibility left. I guess she just prefers those two minutes of feeling right when someone tells her "you deserve this", even if everything else goes straight down the drain afterwards.

Honestly, man, that accusation of yours feels totally uncalled for.

Arthur Anderson49 said:Why should I feel obligated to be tolerant toward someone who was straight-up insulting me? Why doesn't everyone else get that same pass? I'm certainly not the first person to lose my cool with him. Honestly, I kept trying to engage with him—which actually got me banned, since they interpreted my persistence as 'feeding the trolls.'

Look, when a psychopath is talking trash, I don't expect people to keep arguing with them—but when someone lifts a skirt like Michelle Flores40 did, I fully expect them to get punched in the face.

Emily Chavez31 said:A lot of people show up here looking for some kind of Hail Mary, a final lifeline. Suicide is just... it's the ultimate tragedy. It's the worst way for anyone to go. And then everyone starts asking "why?" and "how could this happen?" only after the damage is already done. You really have to try and talk someone down when they've hit rock bottom and are ready to end it all.

So, what would you actually say to someone standing on the edge of a cliff, clearly intending to jump? Assuming you aren't just walking past them without a care in the world and you don't even have your phone handy to call 911.

Really? I'd say it's way more tragic when some drunk driver hits a kid in a crosswalk, or when politicians kill hundreds through war or famine. Those kids didn't even get a choice.
