Seeking support for suicidal thoughts
in Psychology ·
I honestly don't know; when someone is standing right on the edge of suicide, I suspect any attempt at providing words of support carries very little weight
I have no desire to spout empty platitudes regarding such a heavy subject right now
What I find far more compelling to examine is the precise moment and the specific circumstances under which this entire descent began
And why did the situation spiral so uncontrollably before finally reaching this breaking point?
If a person cannot find even a flicker of strength within themselves, how can we expect any external intervention to work, other than perhaps merely delaying the inevitable?
