Seeking support for suicidal thoughts
in Psychology ·
God, it is freezing in here!
It sounds as if you're suggesting anyone in your circle could end their life and you'd simply let them because things got "unbearable." What exactly defines "unbearable" to you?
Anything in life can be endured and survived, provided there is even a shred of love surrounding you.
Every single human life is priceless and worth fighting for. When someone attempts suicide, it is merely a desperate signal to those around them that something is terribly wrong and they are crying out for help.
Perhaps your hand, your attention, or a simple conversation might be enough to stop someone from making that choice. No one truly knows what is happening inside another person's mind until it is too late, leaving everyone to claim, "but they seemed perfectly fine."
