Applying for a loan while living abroad in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
boldheron55 said:Has anyone here dealt with loans from the UK before, specifically "State Street"? I sent over a copy of my ID and they told me the loan was basically approved. Then they gave me this code that I’m supposed to send along with my account number to a different email address of theirs just to get the funds transferred. They didn't ask for any upfront fees or anything. Anyone run into this?

I spent way too much time haggling with these types offering loans from abroad at 2-5% interest. Eventually settled on one outfit out of the UK. After endless back-and-forth and arguing over terms, I'm just sitting here waiting for the funds. They claim it takes up to five days. We'll see how that goes.

So, did you actually get the loan approved?
