I love Darkness

I mean, I get it—it’s honestly beautiful how some people just thrive at night because of their own personal rhythms and stuff.
But I have to wonder, though... what about the people who actually can't function when the sun is up? Like, how do they manage? Are they even able to hold down jobs, or how do they even get by? Do they actually spend the daylight hours sleeping, or are they just sort of forcing themselves through the day and hoping for the best?
How do you all make it work?
I think I read somewhere once that during puberty, that sleep-regulating gland kicks in maybe three or four hours later than it does for adults—which I guess is why there's always so much drama between parents and teenagers regarding curfews and bedtimes and all that.
hmmm
It's a pretty interesting topic, isn't it?
