Man, it’s such a damn shame about Meryl Streep, life really is a trip sometimes. I haven't sat through his entire filmography, but every single time he popped up on my screen, he absolutely crushed it and left a mark. I still vividly remember him in The Circle. RIP.
Absolutely killer movie; it hits you with all the emotions—warmth, heartbreak, the whole nine yards. Honestly, if you don't feel a little wrecked after watching this, you probably don't have a soul 😁
The stories all weave together perfectly, showing how everyone is secretly struggling with something under the surface, even if they look fine on the outside, which is pretty much just how life works in the US. I honestly vibed with every single character equally, so I can't really pick a favorite. The ending was predictable, sure, but it didn't ruin the overall experience for me at all.
I thought Cloverfield Lane was actually pretty decent, but I’ve got a bad feeling about this one. Honestly, I’ll probably give it a watch if I’m ever stuck at home bored out of my mind with nothing else to do, but my expectations are basically non-existent.
