I’ve always felt that some players thrive when the lights are brightest, while others just tighten up and crumble. It's wild how much the atmosphere can change a person's performance when everyone is watching. Do you think certain athletes are just built differently for those high-stakes moments?
I was wondering if I could grab a little help from you guys—does anyone happen to have a contact for an accordion player (since the party is up in Savannah) or maybe someone who makes those delicious croquants? Like, someone working down by the marina or something... I’d be super grateful!
Hey, can anyone point me in the right direction regarding where Rose Commerce moved to? I know they used to be located over by Prime3, but apparently, they've relocated since then. Thanks in advance, guys!!!
Raymond Brooks7 said:I have to disagree with you there... I was at a wedding there recently and everything was top-notch, from the catering to the staff...
If I were picking, my order would be: Saint Croix, then Castello, then Bellevue... but honestly, it all depends on where your church is located. If the cathedral is over in the downtown area, Bellevue is probably your best bet...
For what it's worth, I've been to all three and I haven't found a single thing to complain about regarding the food, the service, or the atmosphere.😍
In my opinion, Castello is 👍 pretty rough, honestly—from the actual space they have to the servers and the food itself. I've been to a few dinner parties there and it just wasn't it.

Their set was wild, the music was all over the place in the best way, the breaks were short, and most importantly—they weren't blasting my eardrums out. I’ve been to plenty of parties where the bands were just way too loud and obnoxious, but Amor was just perfect. They’ve got that cool mix of a duo and a trio setup, plus a female vocalist. It was awesome. seriously though, if anyone has their contact info, shoot me a DM. 🙂
Can someone shoot me a DM with the room numbers for Castle, Honey, and Holy Cross? Does anyone happen to know anything about that group called Love? Thanks 👋
Thomas Sanchez532 said:This specific room holds over 200 people—when we had our party there, we had about 138 including the photographer and the band—but they also have that massive ballroom that could probably fit God knows how many folks. As for the cost, here’s what we paid when we booked it back then: The standard menu (appetizer, pastries, pizza, prosciutto, cheese, French fries, plus black risotto, beef stew, and veal medallions, lamb, coffee, fruit, and salad) was $32 per person.
If you want the surprise omelet option, it’s an extra dollar per person. Round tables and linens will run you another dollar too.
So, you're looking at maybe $35 max, though you can actually bring your own wine and lamb to save some cash (but honestly, that’s just more work for you). From what I gather, other banquet halls charge more, and they usually don't even include the fruit or the head table decorations in the base price.
For everything included, the price is 👍, and that's pretty much the range for the other rooms too—some are actually way more expensive, so I really need to go check them out in person.
Thomas Sanchez532 said:Honestly, it’s the same old story every single year. That massive place is going to be a tough sell, and even if it does go, they really have to stick to their contracts. When you deal with a safe, you make a solid agreement (like you get 2 parts and they keep 1), and you put down a deposit of about $1167 (if I recall correctly), and they actually follow through on everything promised. Personally, I was more than happy with the staff and the food, and my guests were too. There's a beach right below the venue, so you can head down after the feast and just let loose (that was our little move). Oh, and all the floral decor is included in the price (including the head table). You just tell them which colors and flowers you want to dominate the look. Here is how it looked for us (mind you, those were their flowers, but I added those little nautical touches myself)
And here is the centerpiece for the main table, which, like I mentioned, is part of the package (except for that little seahorse I brought in because I wanted that ocean vibe)
Bell, that photo looks seriously amazing, I love it,👍 but how many people can the hall actually hold and what kind of pricing are we looking at?
So I was just scrolling through the Studio In website looking at some of their shots, and honestly? They aren't bad at all, and the pricing seems pretty decent too, especially when you consider how much other places are charging these days.
rapidmason10 said:Honestly, they play just about everything! My guests absolutely loved the tunes. I made sure to clear everything with them beforehand—I told them straight up, "No cheesy wedding songs," and they stuck to it. You can pretty much negotiate anything with these guys; they're super flexible.
Give Deer a call (if you're talking about the Seattle location), she'll get you all squared away!
Joseph Wilson31 said:Yeah, I totally see what you mean—those girls are seriously lacking that studio vibe, so now I'm actually curious, like, what makes them such top-tier picks and what kind of price range are we even looking at here?
I wasn't trying to be shady or anything, I was just genuinely wondering! I saw some people throwing shade at photo Marko too, but then I actually looked at their shots and they were honestly flawless, so now I'm just left standing here totally confused.
I mean, I know they play everything from international hits to local stuff, which is totally fine by me, but I’m still kind of mulling it over, you know? Like, do these bands actually put out anything you can really sink your teeth into, maybe a CD or something similar, or am I just gonna have to take everyone's word for it and pick based on what people recommend?

Joseph Wilson31 said:What kind of music do they usually play?
If I want to swing by and check out the venue, I really should give them a heads-up first... I don't want to just barge in on everyone out of nowhere...
rapidmason10 said:Barclays usually goes for $1,300, but since I added an extra musician, mine ended up being about $1,450 http://barclays.com/ You can find all their info right here.
That venue is gorgeous! It’s actually where I host my events, and I have nothing but good things to say about them.👍 If you have any questions about the space, just ask!😁
I'm putting together a link with my professional photos to post here on the forum soon. Honestly, I'm obsessed with how they turned out—everything was absolutely perfect.
honestly my head is spinning right now, it’s kind of a mess up there, though I guess it’s funny in a way since I’ve got a few favorites lined up so I'll just take whoever ends up being free, but the band itself? man, I just don't know, my top pick has gotta be Bravo Band...
Mark Grant85 said:I mean, regarding Honey, I think it’s better to just buy it outright—it isn't really worth putting down a deposit since who knows what kind of mess we'll be dealing with later on.
you know, I had no idea about the honey place thing, so I'm probably not going to count on it too much, even though I saw some photos of the hall and honestly, it looks pretty amazing
