Drew Bennett68 said:Can anyone give me the lowdown on the Cube Music Band? I've heard whispers that they aren't half bad, but I'm still on the fence. I've listened to a few tracks from their website, and honestly, they sound just okay—but at the end of the day, isn't the most important thing whether they can actually work a crowd?
Also, if anyone happens to have some intel on the band Volar, please share! From what I've seen online, they look like they might be absolutely incredible.
I actually caught the Cube Music Band at a party once, and personally, I thought they were great. They really knew how to get the energy up, and one thing I really appreciated was that they didn't take these massive, awkward breaks between sets. They're actually booked for my date, otherwise, I totally would have hired them myself. As for the folks in Volar, I haven't caught them live yet, so I can't say for sure. Honestly, your best bet is always to just give them a call, ask where they're playing next, and go see them in person.
