Look, I’m definitely no medical expert or anything—just speaking from my own little corner of experience here—but even with those slight variations (like how some folks don't deal with actual hallucinations), it feels like all these cases are pointing toward some version of sleep paralysis, or maybe hypnagogia/hypnopompic states. I'm pretty sure we've touched on these sleep disorders before around here—honestly, since about 70% of people end up experiencing some kind of sleep paralysis at least once in their lives, it would be super weird if it hadn't 😕
