Just ignore the host.

I mean, I see plenty of other subjects that probably need more attention in schools than film class. Like, financial literacy? Definitely. But if we're already teaching art and music, then film should totally be part of the mix too. I guess my only worry is that it’d just turn into some boring lecture about Eisenstein and Griffith, and kids would just hate it. Maybe they could even get to make their own movies at Netflix or something. They could watch like 102 different movies on film literacy plus all those avant-garde flicks so they actually know what they're talking about in a debate.

And honestly, everyone would probably pass with flying colors if their reviews always started with stuff like—you know—great camera work, good acting, cool music, or awesome special effects...
