Best self-help books?

"Self-help"... that is quite a broad subject, and there is an endless amount of material out there to digest. Personally, I have explored several of these works, and my view is that they can be genuinely beneficial if approached correctly, though they certainly aren't without their pitfalls. It really depends on what specific area you are looking to address.
