My computer keeps adding extra letters to words

It turns out the issue was rooted in my BIOS settings. Once I performed a BIOS update, everything returned to normal. Before realizing this, I had wasted money buying a brand-new keyboard, thinking that was the culprit. It appeared entirely out of nowhere, but the update finally put an end to it.
