If anyone happens to be hunting for a makeup artist in the Indianapolis area, I really can't recommend John Marjanović enough. I booked her for a wedding recently and honestly, I was blown away—and so were all the guests who saw me. In fact, a friend of mine just booked her for her own wedding, so there'll be six of us getting our faces done on May 7th!
$50She works with high-end brands like Mac, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, and Dior, which is a huge plus, though I suppose part of the reason people flock to her is that she’s working from home while her little one is still quite small.
My makeup stayed absolutely flawless from about 11 in the morning all the way until I finally crawled into bed at 4 in the morning—it didn't budge. The only thing I had to touch up was my lipstick, mostly because of all the eating and drinking throughout the night. 😬 And seriously, the foundation didn't melt off at all; even though I was sweating quite a bit and kept dabbing at my face with tissues, everything stayed perfectly in place.

And why on earth am I expected to sit through at least 200 of John’s photos?
I mean, I’ve made it through about 50 so far, and if that even counts for anything, I suppose I could say I actually prefer Maya’s shots more...☕
Then again, I find myself liking the work from Leon Productions too, along with stuff from Sekol and M. Franov. Am I basically just running advertisements for them now? Who knows, I guess.🙄

I suppose I should just mention that one day, when I finally decide to tie the knot, I’m definitely going to book 😍 Z_Maju to handle the photography (assuming they don't retire before my future husband actually makes up his mind🙄), because honestly, I haven't seen anyone take better photos...
plus, I don't really know anyone else whose profile picture looks quite as pleasant—which matters to me, I guess, since I have no desire for a photographer who seems unfriendly, never smiles, or might just get drunk and forget they even have a job..

So, on another note, I was wondering if anyone who’s had their makeup done by Jelena Marjanović could maybe drop a link to some photos? I’d love to see her work. A friend of mine is getting married soon, and since I’ve stepped up as the organizer🤣, I want to be sure before I give my recommendation..
If I recall correctly, she did my makeup a few times during those promotional events over at Martimex, but she always seemed to apply way too much foundation😢 (though, then again, almost every makeup artist I've ever used has done that, so maybe it's just me and the fact that I naturally look a bit darker than I actually am)
