If I remember right, they do cash on delivery...

The prices at DTP are great, but the issue is that I need these ribbons by tomorrow, or Wednesday at the absolute latest. 😢

Does anyone happen to know if there's anywhere in Indianapolis where I could pick up some satin ribbons at a more reasonable price? At Vigus, the ones I need (2 cm wide) go for $1.25/m, and over at Bagat they're $1.00/m. It seems excessive to me—especially considering how much I already spent on those ribbons for my petty cash fund. Now I’ve run short on funds for the invitations because the width I originally planned for just isn't working out. 🤷🤷

We learned English waltz, Viennese waltz, tango, swing, cha-cha-cha, jive, basic steps, polka... You pay $100 for a membership fee and then you're a member for life. You can always come back later to refresh your memory if you forget something. There are plenty of couples, and about 90% of them have no clue how to dance, but everyone learns gradually. I had fun. I don't think they hold classes over the summer, though. You should check on that. If you want, I can DM you the instructor's number so you can ask them directly.

Thanks. Send me that number in a PM. I'll give both them and D&D a call tomorrow to see which one suits us better.

Does anyone happen to know if there's a decent dance studio in Indianapolis? My partner and I are thinking about signing up soon, mostly because we'd rather not look like complete amateurs on the dance floor.
Has anyone here actually tried classes at Dunkin'?

😉

That sounds great, thanks so much. 🙏

Hey, does anyone happen to know a reliable DJ for a wedding? I’ve managed to scrape together a few numbers from various websites, but I don't really have any actual recommendations since weddings with a DJ aren't particularly common around here—at least, I don't know anyone who has attended one like that.😢

silentstag02 said:You totally missed my point! I said they hiked the prices FOR $667, not ON $667! Those packages that were 4000 last year are sitting at 5000 now. And my photographer who used to be
10,000 is charging 12 $0.00 now!!! It's freaking insane...

I guess what you're saying makes sense now. 😂

Kudos to you if you actually manage to track down a decent photographer for $667. 🙏

blueowl88 said:I went during the first month. I hit every salon in Indianapolis. Prices generally range from $2,500 up to $1.75. They mentioned that the initial rental fee is $1.75, and then the price drops by $167 for subsequent uses. Pronovias has the same pricing structure. If you want something truly custom, the price climbs higher, but for their standard selection, those are the numbers. As for your fiancé, mine felt exactly the same way. To me, the number of times a dress was worn didn't matter—it just had to be beautiful and fit well. I actually liked one of the $0.93 dresses, but the last one I tried on was the winner, so I'll be paying $1.50 for it. 🙂 My guy nearly passed out, but what can you do? I did manage to get a 10% discount since I went during one of their promotional windows. Honestly, I don't feel guilty about the cost. His suit, shirt, shoes, and vest cost as much as my dress combined. He gets to keep everything, while I have to return mine. In the end, I think he actually got the better deal. Don't you? 😉

I appreciate the response.
Honestly, I don't really care about the specific style or cut, provided the dress itself is in good condition. Knowing how I am, I'll probably just end up obsessing over the most expensive option, and if I happen to fall for one particular piece, nothing else will ever compare.

I’ve been reading that wedding dress rental prices have shot up significantly this year. I haven't even started my search yet, so I was wondering if anyone has gone looking this season and what kind of pricing they're seeing for brands like Saint Patrick or Pronovias in Indianapolis or the surrounding areas. 🤷
I suppose I should probably prepare my fiancé so he doesn't pass out from the shock, since he's expecting to pay around $1000, though that probably isn't even a realistic figure anymore. 😲

Does anyone happen to have any insight regarding the Fire arena down in the South 2 district? I read somewhere that they use round tables, but that’s all I could find. I can't seem to track down any actual details online. 🤷

Thanks in advance.
