The wedding guests are in Vincennes... so I was thinking about a florist closer to there... I don't know, I'm still undecided... I have to go to the interview first.

I'm telling you, I got Hostel Plus for $42 and everything is brand new; the rooms are great, plus you have the Kunjevac hotel run by the same owner where you could get a room for $45.
Check out Hostel Plus online!

It looks decent.. I called Hostel Plus... they said they'd get back to me tomorrow with a price. I also called Lady M, and they quoted $33 since we said we'd fill up the whole hotel. I guess Hostel Plus is a bit nicer though.

Like I mentioned, I'm new to Vincennes, but I've heard good things about Krizmanić. I don't know him personally, but I follow him on Facebook. If Mirror Studio from Brod doesn't work out, my next choices would be the Democratic Party group from Washington, D.C., or him. I'm not looking for a fourth option!
Sometimes people expect too much without being clear about what they want, and then they end up disappointed.
Check out Mirror Studio on Facebook; they just launched a new website, though the portfolio isn't huge yet.

My wedding is at the Admiral, thanks for the tips. I'll be visiting around Easter, so I'll check out some photographers then and put down a deposit.

I still haven't booked a photographer or a florist. I've asked about this before, but I haven't gotten a straight answer yet. I guess I'm stuck on Krizmanić because I heard he was decent, but then I saw some conflicting stuff about him on the forums.
I'm not local, so I don't really know anyone to recommend, and since people have been mentioning him online, I'm a bit hesitant. If anyone here has actually used him, maybe you could reach out with some details?

What exactly is messy about that Lad m? I'm heading to the Midwest for Easter, so I'll probably check around and book somewhere... I mean, guests usually just need a place to sleep, nothing fancy, but I still think things should look decent.

Like one girl mentioned above... if we're talking about a difference of only 5 dollars, $3.25it's probably not even worth moving guests from one hotel to another. Right now, I'm staying at the Admiral $45, which is a good deal considering how much things cost in San Francisco 🙂)

We have a few people attending the wedding (mostly close friends) who need a place to crash. So, where should they stay?
Staying at the hostel in Vinkovci is $42 per person, while the Admiral is 135... Is it even worth it for $3.25 to be walking around if everyone else is already staying at the Admiral?
As for accommodation in Vinkovci, I'm still undecided..
If you have any leads on good places to stay, please let me know! 🙂

I suppose I’m facing the same issue... My in-laws are staying at the Admiral too. Only, since I need accommodations for about 100 people, would the price difference be 125 or 135?
Does anyone know of a decent hostel or motel around here? I guess. Maybe. $33 Staying at VK? I guess maybe.

It seems some of you know that agency in Richmond that handles Lepidoptera's wedding planning. If you don't mind, could you share what their services actually cover? I'm looking for rough pricing and why you'd recommend them over others. Also, do they handle catering?

We're putting the guests up at the T-Mobile hostel where we secured a rate of $42 per person.

Where exactly is that T-Mobile hostel located? Is it also in Vinkovci? How many guests are actually sleeping there? And I guess, is that price set in stone or was it some kind of discounted rate $42?

Robert Moore86 said:Are you guys planning on handing out pre-packaged cookies to guests as they leave? We usually give out thank-you notes and chocolates, but we were thinking about adding cookies too. Now the other women at my job are telling me it’s just an unnecessary expense, especially since the wedding is in July. What do you think? How are you all handling this for your weddings?

I don't really care for the cookies. I'm thinking about just doing thank-you favors and confetti, though I've been browsing this forum and saw some girls giving out little silver or gold Hershey's bars with custom wrappers from a local print shop featuring the couple's photo and date. That seems like an interesting idea... maybe just something left on every plate or given as a favor.🙂

I was hesitant, but I think I'll see what she has to offer. I have my eye on those tall, slim vases... though I suspect she doesn't carry them. Everyone I know who shops there seems to own their signature martini glasses...
We spoke already, and she added me to the list, though she suggested I stop by in February.
Did you schedule your visit, or did you just show up on a whim?

Please post back here once you see what kind of decor they actually have—vases, crystal, mirrors, LED lights, candle holders... I know the total will depend on which flowers I pick (probably calla lilies), but I need to know if they carry everything I've planned for my arrangements. I don't mind paying more if it means everything looks absolutely perfect.

p.s.—what's the typical price range for florists in Indianapolis anyway?

Thanks .. maza116
I suppose everyone’s experience varies. Some people love it while others find it totally useless. It probably just comes down to the agreement; if you specify exactly what you want and how much you're willing to pay, I guess it shouldn't be a total bust 🙂

ruggedtrucker5 said:Jack and Krizmanic really give you great value for your money—honestly quite affordable, especially compared to the prices you'd see in San Francisco. As long as you aren't expecting anything over-the-top, you'll be very happy with them. Just make sure to be super specific about exactly what you want, and you shouldn't have any issues at all.

Thanks... I only know about Krizmanić, but over at the casino they actually recommended Jack.🙂
Do you happen to know if there's a better florist or photographer around Indianapolis, and is there much of a price difference?

p.s. - I have no idea what Krizmanić or Jack charge. I haven't reached out to anyone yet, so I figured I'd check the forum first to see what other girls say based on their actual experience.

Hi ladies 🙂
I suppose I should chime in too... I also have in-laws in Indianapolis at 10 AM
Venue: Admiral
Music: Grega band from the Midwest
As for flowers and a photographer—I honestly have no clue, which is why I joined this forum to see if anyone has recommendations. I heard about a florist named Jack over in Ivankov, so I’m wondering if anyone has worked with him or perhaps the photographer Krizmanic? I'd love to know roughly what the pricing looks like and what's included in their packages.
Since I live in San Francisco, checking all this out is a bit of a logistical headache.
Thanks
