Daniel Jackson7 said:I can't speak to Victoria's hairstyling skills, but when it comes to makeup, she is absolutely flawless. I actually booked her for my own wedding this September.

...I just don't quite get what's so "perfect" about her skills when she manages to pick the wrong foundation shade every single time...

Tyler Campbell59 said:Does anyone offer mobile services? Specifically, does anyone know if a makeup artist from that Apple studio does home visits?

They don't really do house calls. It’s actually just one girl who handles both hair and makeup, and since she can have three or four brides booked up on a Saturday, everyone pretty much has to head down to the salon.

Ryan Parker38 said:So, I’ve reached out to Ana Coric several times now—tried both email and text—but she hasn't bothered to get back to me even once. 👎

🤔 Hmm... she actually got back to me within a day or two, but it was through Facebook... 🤷
Maybe try messaging her there instead? Or, if you happen to be in Indianapolis, you could always just drop by her studio in person!

I can't say for sure, but personally, I found it really worthwhile to pick up that specific fabric along with some decorative ribbons for the invitations 🙂

Rebecca Lopez10 said:Can you tell me where that shop is exactly? Like, near what landmark? I'm not great with street names, but just give me an idea of the area 🙂

It's right by the Superman store. You can walk in through the main entrance, or if you prefer, there's an entrance on the back side right by the parking lot! 🙂

Harold Hayes9 said:That foil sounds pretty interesting... neonheron26, I'm dying to see the pictures, can't wait to check them out! I was actually thinking about using some organza for my own decorations... does anyone know if they sell organza in the hallway?

They definitely have organza. Honestly, I totally blanked on asking how much it cost since I didn't need any for myself, but I did pick up some organza—the florist there told me it actually looks better than organza anyway—and paid for $16 10 yards. I remember buying a similar material back in Indianapolis at that one "Wedding Supplies" shop, but it was WAY wider, $15! So, yeah... :/ oh, and just to clarify, the balloons come in packs of 100 $6.75

Hey there! Does anyone know where I can pick up a sprayer? 😕 I'm looking for one of those Christmas ones.... 🤷

Does anyone know who in Indianapolis does that fancy fruit carving—you know, the stuff with watermelons and apples? I was looking for someone talented and wondered if anyone had a lead.😕

I mean, I honestly imagine that guys who usually work at a local pub would probably be pretty down to jump in and help out for a little extra cash, I guess.

Oh, I get what you mean, but I was actually thinking more along the lines of professional waiters—you know, the kind who wear those crisp uniforms and white gloves! I’m just not sure where on earth I’d find anyone like that. 🤷 I wonder if I could even swing by a local culinary school and see if any students might be interested? 🤷 I'm honestly drawing a blank here...

Hey everyone, does anyone happen to know where I could find some reliable servers to come over to my place? I’m looking to hire about five people for an event at my house. 🤷

brightotter21 said:I don't mind heading out to Indy 😁 where exactly at Walmart should I look? And how much is that ribbon?

So, I just got off the phone with my mom, and she mentioned she picked up some of that ribbon for bottle toppers before. She said she grabbed it at Theaters, and it was about $8.25 meters long! As for the stuff near Superman, I honestly can't remember the length or the price, but it's right there at the Walmart near the parking lot!

brightotter21 said:Thanks! So how much would the decorated ones run me??

Hmm...don't quote me on this, but I’d guess they’re around $0.33. Honestly though, you might be better off just getting the plain ones and picking up some ribbon to do it yourself. If you happen to be living in Indianapolis, you can grab some really inexpensive ribbon over at Super! 🙂

brightotter21 said:Hey guys! Does anyone happen to know what the going rate is for rosemary per sprig these days? Also, where's the best place to pick some up?

Check out the New York Stock Exchange listings; you can find plenty of postings there, whether you’re looking for spiked or unspiked rosemary... The unspiked ones go for about 40 cents. 🙂

Jesse Morgan73 said:It's true... we actually booked them for October 8th!!!!
And honestly, I don't even regret spending the money. 😍

I actually put my reservation in a few months back. They quoted me $11,000, but said if I wanted their full photo album included, it would be $12,000. Did you guys get some kind of official confirmation or anything, since they aren't asking for a deposit upfront?

We’re keeping things pretty low-key with the dancing at my place—just a small family affair. The plan is basically his side goes first, then my brother, then Mom, and then Dad will walk me down the aisle to hand me over to my husband. After that, we’ll have a little dance together before the girls start eyeing the bouquet! That's pretty much the whole plan. 🙂

Robert Moore86 said:How far in advance did you guys finalize everything with your florist? My venue includes centerpieces in the rental fee, so I checked with them yesterday to see when I should actually sit down with the florist. I want to go over the table setups and also coordinate our personal bouquet and sweetheart table arrangements—they aren't included in the venue price, but the florist gives a massive discount if we book through them. The venue staff told me to just head over about ten days before the big day... isn't that cutting it way too close?!!

Honestly, you're totally fine. That's exactly what both the venue and the florist told me during my own planning process—aiming for about two weeks out is plenty of time!
