It’s been a little over a month since my wedding guests finally cleared out, so I guess it's time for a little recap. First off, my dress was by Nikolin—and honestly, I couldn't be happier. The two lovely ladies over at VK were absolute gems; they made the whole process feel effortless. For hair, I went to Vallentino in Borovo, and I was just as thrilled with the results there. As for makeup, I visited Eva’s beauty salon in Memphis. Eva is basically the gold standard; she truly deserves all the praise. My flowers were handled by my mom’s friend and her daughter, who have been in the floral business for twenty years now. However, I decided to order the roses from Vigus in Vinkovci, and I have to say, I am completely disappointed. When they picked them up on Friday evening, the flowers were already past their prime. By Saturday, they had opened up so much that petals were actually starting to fall off 😢 The woman making my bouquet barely managed to scrape together about 30 decent ones for the bouquet and boutonnieres. Personally, I wouldn't set foot in that shop ever again, especially considering what I paid per stem $5.00—we had ordered 100 in total. On a brighter note, the cakes and pastries also came from Vigus, and those were fantastic. I was really pleased with that part of the day. Anyway, that’s the gist of it 😉

☕ I didn't say they weren't worth it... I'm just pointing out what the price tag actually looks like!

Honestly, he's better than half the people shooting weddings out in the Midwest. I've seen some of his shots that were absolutely stunning, while others were just average. I suspect it depends on his mood that day—which shouldn't happen with a true professional who charges premium rates. His work is solid, follows the rules, and stays on schedule, even if it lacks that "wow" factor sometimes.
I’d also suggest looking into Rahel. She has studios in both Vincennes and El Paso. If you can, go see her work in person. Her photography is excellent; she has a real eye for elegance. The shots are well-executed, though they aren't overly edited or flashy. She charges around a thousand dollars, but you get a lot for the package. See if she fits your style.
Aside from Studio69, those are the only photographers in the Vincennes area I’d personally recommend. As for the rest of the US, I couldn't say. There are probably better options out there, but the prices would likely be much higher.
For Studio 54, I heard the starting price for this year is around 11 $0.00.

It feels kind of hard to believe, honestly, that in this day and age—when you can basically advertise for free online whenever you want—a business wouldn't have even a basic page or something? It's not like we all live right next door to them and can just pop in!
