Everything you need for a Midwest wedding in Weddings ·
quietcobra52 said:Hey ladies! Sadly, I couldn't make it to Facebook today to pick out a wedding dress—we're pushing it to next week instead. But I'm heading down to Columbus anyway since she needs to grab some tiles. Might as well swing by and see what kind of dresses they have there, right? I checked out the shops in St. Louis before and honestly... not a fan.
So, does anyone know if there's another bridal boutique in Columbus (in Canada) besides the one across from the pharmacy (on the way toward Ogden)?
Also, has anyone here actually been to a salon in Columbus—either personally or heard anything?

In that small town in Ohio, you actually have two more options close to the shop you mentioned. One is pretty close to that first one; look for the salon that carries Taylor Swift's line. There's also the Gloria salon. Hope that helps!

What a nightmare. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. To make matters worse, the staff actually called me an hour before my appointment just to tell me not to worry because they were running about thirty minutes behind. Then, after waiting two full hours for Victoria Peterson, there was nothing—just total silence. That's when the panic really set in. It’s been over a week now, and I haven't received a single apology or even a follow-up. Honestly, at this point, I don't even care about the excuse, I just want respect. As far as I'm concerned, this is one massive Anti-advertisement.😠😠😠

A quick heads-up for any brides-to-be out there: don't let what happened to me happen to you. Whatever you do, stay far away from Victoria's Secret based out of Indianapolis. You run a serious risk of her just being a complete no-show on your big day. I’m writing this only a week after my wedding, and I’m still processing the sheer audacity of it all. We had everything locked in—makeup and hair—months in advance. I even spoke with her on the phone the day before and again on the actual morning of the wedding. Everything seemed perfectly fine, or so I thought. And then, boom. Total radio silence. She didn't show up, and she wouldn't even pick up the phone when we started calling frantically. I was honestly speechless. On a day that is already high-stakes and incredibly stressful, the last thing you need is someone blowing you off like this. To make matters worse, I’ve just realized that I am definitely not alone here; so many other girls have dealt with the exact same nightmare. It is absolutely infuriating.

Ladies, just so you know, there are several Yeti stores out there. The one that carries the suits is actually located just outside of a small town in Ohio—it’s in a small town in Indiana, about 10 miles away from the main area... Since I'm from that part of the Midwest, I can head over there and check on the suit prices for you if you'd like.
