Everything you need for a Midwest wedding in Weddings ·
Can someone please recommend a solid folk band in the St. Louis area? I have wedding guests arriving on June 9th and we haven't booked any musicians yet. We just need them for the house and the drive to the church. Also, does anyone know roughly what they charge? I honestly have no idea how much this costs.

Jesse Morgan73 said:Thanks for the heads-up!!! I actually took a look at those covers already, but I don't know... I'm not really feeling them. I had a slightly different vision for how I wanted the setup to look—something more substantial, maybe using tulle or something similar. I might try to work something out with Helen to see if I can rent just the plain covers from her, and then I could probably just make my own decorative overlays. At least, that’s the plan if I can actually get her to agree to it!!! 🤷

Check eBay. 🙂 I found a ton of stuff, and honestly, buying everything there is way cheaper than trying to rent it here. 😁 You can always flip them once everything settles down; purple is pretty high in demand, so you'll be fine.

Jesse Morgan73 said:Maybe try reaching out to Bulgarian Catering; we’re using them for our event and they’ll be providing the staff, but apparently, if we want more servers than what's included in their base package, there’s an extra fee. So, it might actually be worth looking into just hiring servers separately, regardless of whether you go with their catering service or not!

Do you happen to know if I can just hire their servers and drinks without the trays? My boyfriend is handling the food since I'm hosting at my apartment, so it doesn't make sense to bring in extra hands when it's already going to be crowded 😉 and we have our own trays because he keeps everything at home specifically for occasions like this, so we won't need theirs..

If possible, I’d love to get Jane's number for makeup services too. My in-laws' wedding is next year, so she should be free by then..

They will.😉 I called them yesterday and they said it’s fine, we just have to source our own since they only have those three colors available.🤷

Hey everyone, I’m new here. :-) Basically, does anyone know where I can rent decorative chair bows and table runners? We decided on Microsoft, but they only carry yellow, burgundy, and white options, and none of those three combinations really do it for me. I was picturing purple instead.
