I feel like every time the momentum starts to shift around this time of year, my team finds a way to choke. Do you guys think it's better to ride the hot streak or start rotating players in for the long haul?

I was wondering about those makeup services you arranged with Victoria—what’s the going rate for that, and does she charge a travel fee if she comes out to the house?

I hit up Fifth Avenue yesterday. There’s this shop on one of the floors that carries all kinds of decor—fancy stuff and everyday basics. They have vases in every shape imaginable and they won't break the bank. You can find anything from 5-$2.00 small ball-shaped ones to $33 massive martini glasses (way too big for me). They really have everything. I might check out Harkany next since I heard prices are better there, but if nothing works out, I'll just grab something at that shop on Fifth.
Still haven't found those specific candlesticks from the link I posted. :/
I guess I totally misunderstood then... Well, that's great news! I'll head over to Fifth Avenue and see if I can dig something up...🙂

Ethan Wilson94 said:Thanks, I really appreciate it. Those cookies look incredible—exactly what I’m looking for. I want to mix things up by pairing creamy textures with the drier ones, and honestly, their selection is spot on. The pricing seems pretty fair, too. I think I’m going to reach out to them. 🙂
Alright, I’ve got more questions. Does anyone know a good florist in Columbus or the surrounding areas that won't charge an arm and a leg? Everyone on this forum keeps recommending places in Washington, D.C., and honestly, I don't have the patience to scroll through all those threads. What am I looking at cost-wise for decor for roughly 200 guests? I'm thinking roses—it'll be September. I want to mix in some small floral spheres, like little mini bouquets or whatever they call them, plus candles in glass votives with those little decorative balls. I'd probably just buy the candle stuff myself. I also want some tall single-candle holders scattered around. Look, I haven't fully decided yet. This is just narrowing down my options, and the final call is going to depend entirely on the price tag. So, what's the going rate for flowers in September and these types of candle holders? Here’s what the holders look like:
Check out this shot from Zoe Photography. [Link]They’re about 10 inches high and maybe 3 inches wide, I can't quite remember.
I'm looking at a budget around 3,000.$1333 Max, don't be stingy with the flowers. 🙂
Where on earth did you find those candlesticks? They look absolutely stunning... honestly, I can't stop staring at them!🙂

I haven't even heard of a dedicated bridal shop in Washington, D.C., let alone in places like Indianapolis or Columbus!
I haven't checked out anything in Columbus yet, but my little trek through Indianapolis? Yeah, I'd give that experience a solid zero out of ten!
That’s exactly what I was thinking, too—but I figured it was worth a shot anyway... so, I'm gearing up for a trek through the stores in Columbus. I'm crossing my fingers that I can stumble upon something that catches my eye, though I'm keeping my expectations pretty low...

Hey ladies, I have a quick question for you—where in Washington, D.C. or Columbus can I find some decent wedding shoes? I’m specifically looking for a shop that actually specializes in bridal footwear rather than just general heels. Where did you all end up going to shop for yours?

Hey everyone—could anyone point me toward a great hairstylist? I’m looking for someone talented, and honestly, I don't mind whether they're based in Indianapolis or Memphis; I'm happy to make the drive if the work is worth it.

Kenneth Bailey48 said:So, I went to see Victoria from Indianapolis today for a makeup trial, and honestly, I’m thrilled... though we pretty much had the exact same vision for the look, so it was an easy win 🙂
That's my two cents. Just check out her work on Facebook under Victoria's Secret and decide for yourself
Anyway, highly recommend 👍
Hey, I am seriously so happy to see everyone giving her such glowing reviews...🙂 I've been planning to reach out to her about some upcoming makeup needs, so I was just wondering what her rates are like—and also, does she provide her own professional kit/products? If you could shoot me a private message with those details, I'd really appreciate it... thanks so much!

Does anyone have any solid recommendations for a makeup artist or a hairstylist? I’m looking for someone in the Indianapolis, Memphis, or Columbus areas—honestly, anywhere in that region works for me. Please let me know if you can help; I'm in a bit of a time crunch here!

That sounds awesome—I'm actually planning on reaching out to her myself very soon; I just hope her calendar isn't already slammed when my date rolls around...
Please, please give us an update once you're done...🙂

Has anyone here actually worked with Victoria Makeup—she’s the one on Facebook?
I was thinking about reaching out to her for some services, but I wanted to see if anyone had any firsthand experience first. Has anyone heard anything—good, bad, or even just a heads-up—about her work?
Thanks so much!🙂

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here, and I have to say, I am absolutely loving this wedding forum—I honestly think this community is going to be such a lifesaver during all this planning! 🙂
Basically, I was wondering if anyone might have some solid recommendations for a makeup artist and a hairstylist? I’m pretty flexible on the location—anywhere from Indianapolis to Columbus, or even down towards Warsaw would work perfectly for me...
I noticed you all have already shared some great suggestions in other threads, so if you wouldn't mind sending those contact numbers my way, I would appreciate it so much... thanks a million! 🙂
