I actually picked up some covers at the local studio, Star, over in Des Moines $2.25 lol 🙂
Korušica I think May is actually a great time to shop because you can find deals on just about anything. It really all comes down to your own personal taste, doesn't it? From what I've heard, things like Margarets or Ivancicas are pretty affordable right now. At least, that’s what people have been telling me since my wedding is coming up in April...
Thanks to everyone who shared tips about the balloons 😍 If anyone happens to be heading down to the local Walmart, you can grab some balloons there for just a couple of bucks $1.75 Just make sure to grab some extra helium $0.33 It helps them stay inflated much longer during prep 😉
I haven't 😢 seen a photo of a room decorated with those balloons before, and honestly, I’m obsessed. 😂 Until now, it hadn't even crossed my mind to get helium balloons. I usually just buy packs of 300 cheap ones for next to nothing and plan on tossing them on the floor, mostly because kids end up popping them all over the place anyway... But I really love this idea where the helium ones stay up against the ceiling and you just have the ribbons hanging down.
Does anyone know where I can find this in Indianapolis?! Actually, I don't mind driving out toward Indianapolis or wherever else it might be available. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! 🙂
Help me out here! Does anyone know where I can pick up some helium balloons, and what kind of damage am I looking at for the price? Or better yet, does anyone know if I can just grab a refill tank instead?🤷
I’m thinking about heading down to the local flower market about two weeks before the wedding to see what kind of blooms I can actually get my hands on...
Michelle Taylor, I think I read somewhere that you can pick them up at a pretty good price over at Bijelić🙂
Walter Moore5 I picked up some little decor details at Harp (table runners, glass vases, napkins). I also grabbed about 100 $5.25 balloons over in Pittsburgh. For the boutonniere materials, I went with Good Partner—specifically the Laura department store in Des Moines. Oh, and I found some garden fabric/landscape fabric that’s such a steal; it makes for wonderful decoration.
As for the drinks, I'm honestly clueless 🤷. We have everything we need for $50 right there in the hall, so if I want to grab some local beer, I'll definitely head over to the USA... I do have some homemade walnut liqueur, cherry brandy, and some moonshine on hand. I mean, with this recession, you have to save where you can!
Joshua Brown2, thanks for the heads-up 🙂
I still need to pick out rings, which is why I'm wondering if the jewelers offer any special deals at the wedding expo. Will they even be there at the hotel? I didn't see any of them at Pampas last time.😢
Will they be at the wedding expo along with the jewelry vendors too?! 🤷
Ana77777 thanks so much 🙂
we’re actually looking for something simple too, maybe without any rhinestones or extra bling.
redgull65 honestly, the best way to save money would be to just skip the wedding altogether, wouldn't it?😂
But really, it all comes down to what kind of wedding you're actually dreaming of planning!
Hey there!
I always tend to just drop in out of nowhere, but does anyone happen to have a recommendation for an affordable jeweler for wedding rings?! 🤷
Help me out here!
Has anyone actually bought or maybe spotted that white tulle used for making bows? I was thinking about using it to decorate church pews, for example. 🤷
Does anyone know where I can order desserts for a wedding? What kind of experiences have you all had with homemade treats from that small town in the Midwest?!🤷?
Does anyone happen to know where I could pick up some test tubes for invitations?🤷
Hey there!🙂 Does anyone happen to know anything about the 5stars bridal boutique over in Pittsburgh??🤷🤷🤷
