I mean, look at the dynamic we’re allowing here; it’s like we’ve all just collectively decided to act like we're totally incompetent, basically handing over the keys to some overbearing guardians who think they know what's best for us.

Once you hand over that legitimacy, getting it back is an uphill battle. ☕

Man, you always go straight for the jugular, don't you? It's always something negative with you. You never mention how he actually made it out of the hospital on both legs, or how it wasn't even their fault they had to remove his kidney.

Everything that’s ever happened is basically happening right here on Brač; honestly, if this story had taken place in medieval Italy, they would've turned it into a full-blown opera by now.

They went ahead and opened up the playgrounds, did the whole big ribbon-cutting ceremony and all that nonsense... honestly, such a missed opportunity if you ask me.

Jesse Sullivan5 said:Speaking of game shows—who’s actually the GOAT in your book? Is it Chris? Or maybe Kotiga? Are we talking about one of the old-school legends? Like Pauletich? Or maybe Lojpur?

🍿

That third guy, though... man, he's cold as ice. He shows absolutely zero mercy. 🙏

Elizabeth Mendoza said:Be happy while you still have a reason to be. In my house, we're using less shampoo and way more bar soap lately.

My hairline is receding fast, JB. It’s already halfway up my head.

Just shave it all off, pack on another 30 pounds, and call it a day.

Amanda Evans2 said:I called my barber today and he told me he can squeeze me in two weeks, but apparently, I have to book a facial treatment too.
I am not letting anyone touch my hair with those cheap clippers, just like I never have before!

My wife will handle it. She already gave me a haircut back during the lockdown, and honestly, I’ve noticed women look at me a lot more often now. It turns out pity is the new magnet. Kenek, get in touch to set up an appointment...

You've always had the stronger character—me? I just folded. What can I say? I'm weak.

Michelle Palmer6 said:Not just yet! I’m holding off a little longer to let the initial hype die down first.
But honestly, I can already see it happening: ten years from now, some new version of Elizabeth Mendoza will be complaining that they’ve churned out 25 different Star Wars movies and series, and they'll be absolutely fed up with Disney.

I mean, fair enough. The Mandalorian and the Clone Wars animated series are actually solid, but everything else they release lately? Total waste of time.

I’m basically carrying you on my sleeve

Robbie hit the nail on the head. You spend the first five months scaring the hell out of everyone about getting sick and telling them to stay home, and then you just expect people to flock back to bars, restaurants, movie theaters, and every other service business for the rest of the year? Like, seriously?

I mean, I want it. I don't give a damn. To me, this whole thing is the biggest piece of fake news in human history. But everyone else? Hmmm...

It’s got nothing to do with the rest of them

This isn't even directed at you, it's for nimbleranger52 😁

I mean, if you just watched the first one and someone told you there were sequels, you’d probably be like, "Wait... but... what's the point?" 😁

Honestly, Ad Astra was such a massive letdown for me—definitely one of the biggest cinematic disappointments I've dealt with in years. There was way more hype surrounding it than there was for the US national soccer team, yet the actual performance was just as underwhelming.

I caught Gravity in the theater, and man, what an absolute trip. It’s a total masterpiece on the big screen, but watching it on a small screen? It just doesn't hit the same.

Matthew Young35 said:Don't forget, we were essentially under a form of quarantine ourselves (though, let's be honest, it was mostly just an excuse to relax).
Without those restrictions, that 0.1% or 0.2% could easily have translated into five to ten thousand deaths. And that's assuming the percentage is accurate. Think about it: in just a few months, that would represent nearly half the number of people lost during our last major war.

The only way you're seeing 5,000 to 10,000 dead in Austria is if you went around with a handgun shooting people one by one.

steelharbor9 said:So, I guess we could totally laugh at people who act all careful and cautious after being stuck in close quarters with everyone else all day? Maybe? I mean, honestly, it’s kind of funny! It's like, they spend eight hours in a crowded office or a packed subway car, and then suddenly they're acting like they need a hazmat suit. I don't know! It seems a little much sometimes, right? But hey, maybe I'm just overthinking it! Haha! 🙏

Way to go! Awesome job! 🙏

I wore mine once. Just once. And definitely won't be doing it again unless some crazy mandate makes it mandatory. 🤣 It’s honestly a total disaster. I’m starting to feel bad for those poor retail workers who have to lug this stuff around for 8 hours straight.

My hairdresser had one on for the first time yesterday—said the exact same thing. There’s just no getting used to it. 😁

Left all my info right there... 🙏 what a wonderful new world we live in.

At the barbershop, rocking the mask for the first time :Papi:

What a joke 🤣 I’m seriously just gonna move to a deserted island if they start forcing us to wear these things like they do over in Asia 🙏

I mean, I'm a little skeptical myself. With the kind of ships they were rocking back then? One decent storm and—boom—game over.
