I honestly can't figure out who keeps booking this girl for makeup jobs. Is there something going on between her and Noah? Is he promoting her because they're together, or does she just think he’s such a great photographer that she’s constantly chasing him down for lessons since her own makeup skills are a disaster? Look at what she did—and clearly, it wasn't her first time. When she was supposed to come do my cousin's makeup in Savannah, she just went completely MIA. She wouldn't even pick up the phone. Eventually, some other girl showed up late, sent by her, claiming Victoria was stuck at the hospital with her mother. That might have been excusable if Victoria hadn't actually been in Indianapolis at that exact same time doing makeup for an acquaintance of ours! It's also true what someone mentioned earlier about her charging more for trial runs than what was originally agreed upon. Some people just lack any sense of integrity, regardless of whether they claim to be a "top-tier" stylist, photographer, or nuclear physicist... If you need a reliable, kind, and honest makeup artist in Columbus, I highly recommend Helen. Best, I

Thanks to everyone for the advice. Since I had to move the wedding date to a Friday, I managed to book http://studio-light.net/ to capture the big day. The photographer, Mark, also has his own site if anyone wants to browse: http://marinko.org/. It feels like the right call; he was incredibly helpful with all our initial questions. The price we were quoted was $2000 for full video and photography, including the prints and the album, though I can't recall the details of his cheaper packages. I considered reaching out to Frank, but honestly, his photos look a bit too over-edited for my taste. A special thank you to Anne for all her help. If anyone needs anything from me, please don't hesitate to ask... best wishes!

Thanks ladies, you all are so quick 🙂
I’ve heard all sorts of things about Indianapolis, but not much good—plus, it’s pricey. I haven't heard of photographer Joe before, but his work looks decent, so I might give him a call. Is it even worth hiring someone from NYC when they charge so much more, especially once I factor in travel and lodging? Honestly, I think I'll just find someone local to these parts. I also need to track down Frank. If anyone else has recommendations or wants to warn me about someone, I would be truly grateful 😁

Could anyone lend us a hand? We started looking for a photographer and videographer for our big day a bit too late, so we would truly appreciate any recommendations you might have. 🙂
Our wedding is in June, and we were hoping to book this studio out of Indianapolis http://studio-light.net/ but they're already fully booked. Their photos look wonderful, though I haven't seen any of their video work anywhere. If anyone knows of someone similar, I would be so grateful... thanks!
