I have to agree and give Jane some credit too; I tried on so many dresses elsewhere, but nothing really felt right.
I absolutely loved Isabelle’s salon over in Slavonski Brod, so that's where I ended up booking everything.

But seriously, major props to Jane.

jadeotter10 said:I had to go through all those exact same steps too... it applies to church weddings as well! You just head back about eight days after the big day to pick up your marriage certificate, and you're all set..
If you're planning a church ceremony, you just need to get everything sorted about a month ahead of time—that’s what I did....
And hey, I've been happily married for 12 days now! 🙂🙂

Congratulations and all the best! If you don't mind me asking, which band did you hire?

Does anyone happen to know of a reliable catering service in the Columbus area?

Thanks so much!

Thanks! I was wondering if there's anywhere in the Midwest or maybe around St. Louis where I could actually go and see them in person?

If anyone happens to know, I'd really appreciate the help.

Does anyone happen to know where I might be able to pick up some 40ml mignon glass bottles?
Ideally, they would be around $2.00 or even slightly smaller than that!🙂

Does anyone happen to know where I might find some canopies or perhaps a white tent for rent to use in my backyard? Thanks!

Thanks! I guess it would be much more helpful if someone offered chocolate fountain rentals out in the Midwest. 🙂 So, if anyone happens to know of any leads, I'd really appreciate it.

Many thanks to cosmicnomad22 over at dustytinker58 for the response. I think I might head over to Michaels to check things out. We noticed those little glass bottles are available on bumbar.hr, but I wonder if anyone knows of any other places to pick them up?
I was also wondering if anyone happens to know where one might find a chocolate fountain? I am thinking it might be a lovely addition to my studio, especially since we'll finally have some fresh fruit on hand!

Does anyone happen to know what kind of marker I could use on glass bottles—and where I might be able to pick some up—that stays put for a while, or at least won't just wipe right off immediately? Thanks so much for any help!

Does anyone happen to know a reliable catering service? I'm looking to host something at my place soon. Thanks!

Does anyone know where I might be able to find small glass bottles, maybe around 40ml, with cork stoppers for some homemade spirits? I’m really looking for something a bit more high-end than just repurposed juice bottles.

Thanks!

Does anyone happen to know where I might be able to find some interesting party favors?

Maybe some gourmet sweets, local spirits, wine, magnets, or even handheld fans...
Thanks!

I'm trying to get a sense of what we're looking at regarding tent rentals, catering costs, and all that good stuff.

I'm also curious about catering and tent pricing, so if anyone has some details, please let me know!🙂

Does anyone happen to know of a reliable catering service within the University of California system area? I'm looking for someone truly creative who offers a massive variety of options. I'm really hoping someone might have a recommendation. I need this for an event at my house.
Thanks!

Does anyone happen to know where I might be able to find something like those tiny little honey jars? Or perhaps something similar?
In addition to thank-you photos, I’m really hoping to give my guests a little something extra to take home. Does anyone have any suggestions or info on this?

Also, regarding makeup artists in the VK-ZU area—is there anyone else available besides Studio Chic? Everyone seems to recommend them, but they look pretty booked up, so they're probably full for the next six months.

Has anyone been to a wedding at that venue in a small town in the Midwest? (inside the hall, specifically?) I'd love to hear some impressions.

I'm also really interested in makeup and hair styling, maybe somewhere around Chicago?

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Mark Flores47 said:You’ll have plenty of spots for photos; I think VK is gorgeous. We’re planning to hit up a bit of everything there—hanging out in VK, checking out Kunjevac, maybe grabbing some food too. In VK, we’ll probably head down to that park near the high schools first, then hit the museum downtown, stroll along the main strip, and walk by the Mississippi River...

I feel you, but if I wanted something truly "wow" 😍 over in Lenije? Honestly, looking at those tiny spots doesn't really do it for me 😉 though the Mississippi River definitely has options. Are you thinking about doing the shoot on the wedding day? I'd love to do it then, but fitting it all in might be a struggle... I'll try to make it work. I'm not actually from Memphis, just from the outskirts, but I went to school there so I know the area pretty well 🙂 Where are you thinking of going for hair? Sorry if I'm grilling you too much 😁 🙂

I'm also looking for a good hairstylist and makeup artist in the Memphis area—it would be even better if they were traveling back home for the occasion. Please let me know if you have any leads!

dustytinker58 said:You should definitely check out the boutiques at Isabel's; they have some incredibly stunning and sophisticated pieces...
Unfortunately, I haven't found anything I actually love at Nicole's... It feels like everything there follows the exact same template: a sweetheart corset on top paired with a massive, huge crinoline skirt. Don't get me wrong, there are beautiful dresses in there, but they just aren't my style!

The collections at Isabel's include some lovely, elegant wedding gowns. Has anyone here actually rented from them? When you rent from Nicole's, they include certain accessories in the package. I wonder if Isabel's offers something similar? I think I'll have to visit an Isabel's location; they have shops in Des Moines, Indianapolis, and Columbus.

dustytinker58 said:It really depends on how you define "simple"... personally, when I look at Nicole's style, I don't see much that qualifies as simple. A lot of her pieces feel a bit tacky to me—heavy on the rhinestones and ruffles! But if you're saying the sales clerks are friendly and sweet? Yeah, I definitely agree with you there!

I am searching for something elegant and romantic—nothing with too many wrinkles, waves, or excessive lace, because I really don't want to look like I'm wearing a giant bow.

Where did you all go to rent your dresses?

Also, does anyone know a good makeup artist or hairstylist in the Indianapolis area who offers mobile services and can come to the house?

Thanks!
