I see engagement rings are all the rage lately. If I were jumping in on this trend, we’d probably head out to Des Moines since we heard things are way cheaper there. And honestly, they aren't kidding. Our local shops charged us $667. White gold, man... around here, you're looking at $3,000 or even more. They took our measurements on Wednesday, and wouldn't you know it, they already called today to say they're ready.
Hey, does anyone happen to have some "Welcome" signs I could borrow or maybe rent for a bit? I really don't feel like dropping cash on them just to use them for a few hours... I'm hanging out around Indianapolis and the Napa Valley area. 😁
Curkeee!!! I know I'm probably asking this again... the quote tool just won't work for me lately... and my usual makeup artist just bailed on me... so does anyone have any recommendations for a pro in the Midwest area? Ideally someone who can travel to my small town, USA?
Thanks anyway, we finally tracked it down. 🙂 It was Sysco. We’ll drop some reviews in about seven months... 😁 though I have a feeling things are gonna get pretty wild.. 🙂 🙂
So, I was just wandering around Jefferson earlier today when I stumbled upon this...🙂 This guy is an absolute genius... honestly, I almost walked out with a bunch of invitations before I even realized what I was doing..😁 I think the shop is called FedEx Office.
Andrew James2 said:Does anyone have any firsthand impressions of the Kelbas photo studio? I believe they’re based out of Dakov. I'm curious to know how satisfied people generally are with their work, and whether there's anything specific one needs to arrange beforehand, or if he just knows his craft—I noticed he seems relatively new to the scene.
I actually put down a deposit with them too. A couple of my friends booked them about two months ago and their photos and video just arrived. Their take on it was—the pictures were incredible, but the video was kind of a letdown.
I haven't actually sat down to watch the video myself yet, so I can't give my own verdict... but apparently, the faces look blurry and the colors shift all over the place when they switch between the crane shot and the regular camera...
Really hoping they're just being harsh and exaggerating things... 🙂
So, I honestly thought it wouldn't be an issue either... but apparently, I was wrong. She's basically saying if we don't have at least five people, she won't even bother... Which means... I'm all ears for suggestions! Does anyone know of any good ones out there that actually work? 😁
hey girls... do you think all the makeup artists are skipping out if there aren't at least five of us? 🙄 😁 or is someone actually gonna show up just for me and my bestie?...
Hey Susan Carter11, you should definitely do a little driving through the countryside... honestly, you might find some local spots that offer the exact same stuff as those big-name places, just without the massive price tag. That’s been my experience anyway... I managed to score all the desserts, tablecloths, and even two full dinners for $55... 🙂 we're just handling the drinks ourselves...
Honestly, finding a decent camera for under a thousand bucks is basically impossible, and even if you do find one, you have to wonder if it’s actually any good... Mine set me back almost eleven grand!! 😳 But hey, whatever... that's just the category where I refuse to cut corners... And don't even get me started on photographers... man, the prices people are asking these days... I haven't even put a deposit down on anyone yet... They are just way too expensive for me right now... 😁
