I stopped by Nicholas—their selection of styles is okay, I guess, though it didn't quite blow me away personally. However, I did find my wedding dress at Stephanie; they truly have an incredible variety, and I managed to find exactly what I was looking for 🙂

To make matters worse, the staff actually called me an hour before my appointment just to tell me not to worry because they were running about thirty minutes behind. Then, after waiting two full hours for Victoria Peterson, there was nothing—just total silence. That's when the panic really set in. It’s been over a week now, and I haven't received a single apology or even a follow-up. Honestly, at this point, I don't even care about the excuse, I just want respect. As far as I'm concerned, this is one massive Anti-advertisement.😠😠😠
Reading this actually gives me chills—I’ve had dreams that felt almost exactly like this. 🤣 I can only imagine how stressful that must have been for you. 😢
If I happen to send anyone several identical direct messages, please don't take it personally—I am still getting the hang of how this messaging system works here 😁

I actually stopped by a Foot Locker earlier, but they didn't have anything in ivory—it was all just stark white, which would clash terribly with my dress😢
I am currently on the hunt for some new footwear—shoes, sandals, or even just slippers—that feel incredibly lightweight. I’m pregnant, and my feet have been swelling quite a bit lately, which has become rather uncomfortable... Does anyone know of any good places to shop for something like this? I could potentially travel to Indianapolis, Columbus, Des Moines, or even Memphis to find what I need. I am specifically looking for something in an ivory shade.🙂
quietcobra52 said:honestly, I was thinking the exact same thing 😁 But since things were dead for years with the smaller one, I’m betting this one actually lasts—fingers crossed, right? Since both my partner and I have birthdays coming up, plus cousins visiting in the summer, it'd be great to have somewhere to host everyone without crowding the house—especially with that massive sunroom we've got. And for weddings, I'll just rent or borrow stuff. The tables are a pain, though—already found some local options nearby, though.😁
I’ll have to hunt down some tables locally as well—I'm currently scouring Facebook for caterers... I'm just not sure if they provide their own plates or if I'll need to buy or borrow them myself.
So, are we talking about those prefab units—the kind you’d typically rent out? Honestly, it feels like I'd come out ahead just buying two of them rather than dealing with the cost of renting a single one.
To all the lovely brides-to-be out there... I see you're discussing wedding invitations. I actually ended up DIY-ing about 100 of them myself for roughly $100... if anyone wants to see what they look like, just shoot me a DM and I can send over a photo. Otherwise, you'll find that a single invitation of that style usually runs anywhere from 12 to $5.75 dollars—it really just depends on where you shop. If you're looking for cardstock, there's a Zebra in Indianapolis that has plenty of options; that's where I picked up my supplies . I also have a quick question for the group: I'm planning to rent some lighting for the reception, and I was wondering if anyone here has worked with KPMG Lighting out of Columbus?
quietcobra52 said:Where are you located? That first hall we checked out does rentals—white ones, small or large, whatever you need—and I even reached out to some people on Facebook. Rental fees were around $167, so honestly, it ended up being way cheaper to just buy my own gazebos... at least then I actually own them, right? Or I could just rent them out to someone else later. We picked up a 6x3m gazebo in Mexico for $67, plus I’ve already got two 3x3m ones from when we grabbed some deals at Walmart before.
Where did you pick up that pavilion in the Midwest? I’m looking for one too... ideally without spending a ton of cash.
