Everything you need for a Midwest wedding in Weddings ·

Anyone else planning on jumping ship on October 26th? Let's just hope everything goes smoothly—fingers crossed, right? 😍

Yeah, definitely—there are a few of us who are going to be freezing by November 2nd if these temperatures keep dropping like this.😁

I’m based out of Boston—so if there is anything I can help you all with, whether it's picking something up or bringing it along since I'm up north quite often—just let me know 🙂

Where did you get your makeup and hair done? It looks incredible—huge congrats from me too! 🙂

2. Nora's hair salon near Central Park; ask for Ivan.

4. Kruno Sršić
5. Maplewood area, the hotel restaurant at Waldinger, White-Blue, or Blue Basement (Ravlić).
6. Dresses at Unique

I’m asking one more time—I reached out to Yunk, but I can't seem to track down Crown. If anyone has a contact, please let me know. I found Mary on Facebook and sent her a message, but now I’m looking for some specific details regarding Nora’s salon near Central Park—an address, a phone number, or anything else you might have.
Does anyone have any other recommendations for hair and makeup—please? 🙂 Indianapolis 🙂

Ladies, has anyone here actually used this salon before?

If it isn't too much trouble—and if you have a spare moment—could you please share some contacts? Even just a Facebook link would work...
And thank you so much, truly. This is such a huge help since I'll only be in town for one day before the wedding.

We haven't been particularly active lately 😢

If anyone is willing to lend a hand, I would be incredibly grateful—it would mean a lot to me 🙂
The wedding and reception is set for September 26th in Indianapolis—just a small, intimate family affair since I'm originally from Boston.
We’re planning to head up there next week to book everything and try to nail down the basics, like
1. cake recommendations—any favorites?
2. a hair stylist—also looking for suggestions 🙂
3. makeup artists—once again, any leads? 🙂
4. a photographer—we just want someone for a specific location for some nice shots—does anyone have a preferred spot or photographer? Also, what's the typical rate for a session like that around here?
5. And a recommendation for a lovely little restaurant for dinner... somewhere decent and nice where the family can sit down together 🙂
By the way, I haven't read through this entire thread yet—I'm just starting from the very last page—but if anyone doesn't mind helping out, I’d truly appreciate it.
Also, since we're looking at late October and keeping things small, I'm not exactly thrilled about the idea of a courthouse wedding. Where should I look for evening dresses that would fit the occasion?
