Absolute garbage of a movie. The dialogue is supposedly the highlight—if you can call it that. 😁

Who in their right mind would risk their mental health by watching this in one sitting? Honestly—Jesus—I’m not exactly a masochist. I think the first few seconds told me everything I needed to know.

frozenskipper12 said:Haha, honestly—the guy hit the nail on the head. The movie was just painfully dull. I mean, I really thought I was in for something good because I was so hyped about the director and the whole premise, but... yeah. Guess I learned my lesson.

It’s not just that he’s boring—he’s a monumental tribute to his own greatness at being tedious. An obelisk of boredom.

rokurota said:this movie feels like it was made specifically for Michael Collins... yikes.

He seems to find merit in just about everything. 😁

Personally, I think the film is subpar. For 9/11, maybe. 🙂

It’s a waste of my time.

I don't know how you value your free time, but it isn't worth mine. Honestly, this movie doesn't even deserve this much discussion.

Richard Wilson4 said:Can you give me some details—without spoilers, please—on what specifically bothered you?

I suppose I can, though it isn’t really about specific details—it’s more about the entire movie, which basically screams boredom from the very first second. Honestly, it’s become a bit of a trademark for Netflix films, so I wasn't exactly shocked. They’ve clearly mastered a formula designed to actively repel the viewer starting with the opening shot. I don't quite get why they'd throw all that money into a lavish historical spectacle when they're just following the same template used for 99% of their previous releases—films that seem to have one singular purpose: killing the viewer's interest immediately.
Boredom is a childhood ailment that Netflix producers just haven't grown out of yet. It's strange, really, because even their series feel like more of the same.

That’s a properly phrased question, I suppose.

Yeah, I watched it—didn't really do much for me.

Douglas Lewis91 said:So, is it actually worth watching?

I have to admit—the question feels a bit odd if I swap out "worth it" for something like "is it worth the money?" As far as I know, downloading a movie or streaming it online doesn't cost anything. If something is available to watch for free, why ask if it's "worth" the watch—or rather, if it's worth the investment? You haven't paid for it, so there's no money to lose. Or maybe I’m just missing something here? I'm open to being corrected if I've misunderstood the point.
