..come on everyone, please tell me, was anyone else actually there in San Antonio, Texas for that wedding?..

The owner was a total con artist. We agreed on $55 per person initially, then this guy tries to
jack it up to $90 per person just two weeks before the big day.
We wanted to cancel everything and move the whole thing over to the Park Hyatt.
We ended up staying at the Hilton, but we ditched their catering staff (so they wouldn't sabotage us on purpose)
and brought in our own chef and crew. It turned out great in the end—but that was thanks to us, not the Hilton.
Anyway, the floor manager, some guy named Mario, was actually decent and really tried to make things work.
Hey, shoot me a private message when you get a chance... thanks!
..if anyone happens to have any intel whatsoever regarding the Hilton, please feel free to drop a comment below..I am looking to gather every single scrap of information available
..I was just wondering if anyone else happened to be at the Hilton in Malibu for that wedding recently..

..but I have to wonder, what did the actual menu look like? How was the service? Was it a case of small portions versus high quality, or just both lacking? And where did the reception even take place—was it held in a proper restaurant or out by the pool?
Hey everyone! I’ve been noticing so much incredibly helpful info floating around this group lately, so I figured it was high time I jumped in and asked a few questions of my own... has anyone here ever actually attended a catered party at the Hilton in San Antonio, Texas? We’ve stayed there before and absolutely loved it, but we’re looking closely at their event options now because the brochures make it look quite promising—apparently, they can host a poolside gathering for up to 50 guests right by the water. I’m dying to know if anyone has firsthand experience with one of those events! Specifically, what was the food quality like, what kind of pricing should we be budgeting for, and what does the menu typically look like? Is it usually a buffet-style setup, or do you sit down and coordinate everything directly with the hotel staff? Please, please share anything and everything you can! Thanks a million!
