How on earth did you guys settle on them???😉

Honestly, we just scoured the web, saw a ton of solid reviews, and checked out their website. Their videography looked killer, so we reached out. We weren't even really hunting for anyone specific, we just went with the vibe.
The owner mentioned they've got three weddings booked that same day, so they'll probably be developing our shots back at the studio instead of doing them right there in the ballroom....
Alright, I’ve got everything squared away on my end. The guys are grabbing beers, and the wedding studio is already on-site filming. The only thing bugging me is this whole situation with the manager over at Dolis—it feels sketchy. Honestly, I’m in a worse spot than most, yet they won't even mention that this new policy regarding seat payments is actually happening... Hmmm :/

Alright, figured I'd throw my two cents into the ring too.
Vertigo Band (from Tulsa) - $3000
Simon & Garfunkel and Isaac (they’re actually a trio starting October 1st) - $1,400
Volar Band - $1,600 (that's for the five-piece setup with a female vocalist)
Milan Terze trio (two guys and a female vocalist) - $1,950
Trio Gušt - $3,250

So, I’m currently torn between booking the Volar bend or the Milan Terze trio. Honestly, I’m halfway tempted to just call it a "duo" and invite Ivo, or maybe just hire Vice and Vilma and see where the night takes me... seriously though, has anyone here actually been to a wedding featuring any of these acts? I could really use some real-world intel. thanks
So, how much are Matthew and Bryan actually asking for?
Wait, I also heard it was going for a viva 2700 dollar, so is that actually true or what? :/

Honestly, I’m in the exact same boat here. I’m seriously considering booking them for a wedding, but now I'm second-guessing everything. Help a person out, people! 😁

Honestly, just go to one of their gigs, the vibe is absolutely incredible, and they’ll play just about anything you ask for. They don't just stick to the same old setlist, either. I’ve been to maybe four or five parties where they were the main act, and I haven't had a single moment of doubt about them. 🙂None of those parties ever wrapped up before 6 AM, either; it’s wild how they can still be playing at 5 in the morning like the night is just getting started.

I get that, believe me, but I still really want to hear a woman's voice in the mix, so I'm gonna keep digging a little longer...

You coming down to Naperville?😁
My big day was back on December 1st, 2012, but looking at this thread, it seems I’m definitely not the only one hanging onto those memories😁
I’m really not feeling a duo for this. Honestly, a full-on 4 or 5-piece band just feels more natural to me, you know? Miro Boem is already booked up on that date, and I've never been a huge fan of Barbara or that Uber cover band—saw them at a party once and they just weren't my vibe. I did end up chatting with the Volare band, so I’m planning to catch them live to see if they hit the mark. Has anyone here actually seen them perform before? Any intel?

Hey everyone, quick question—does anyone have any solid recommendations for a band out of the San Francisco area? I’m trying to book some live music for a party, and the crowd is going to be mostly young people. I need a group that can play pretty much anything and actually knows how to get a room hyped up. Any leads? Thanks in advance!
