Personally, I’ve had some pretty bad experiences with the taxi band..

They're a much more polished, well-rounded band. Musically and vocally, they're top-tier.
Barbary are fine if you just want a show, but otherwise, they're pretty bad.

Both are huge priorities for me, but since I’m not based in San Francisco, I can't just go out and hear bands live. As for photographers, I'm incredibly picky—most of them just don't make the cut. Now that I've finished venting, I have a question (and there will be plenty more 😳 later), but let's take it one step at a time.
Does anyone here have experience with, or know how the decor process works at the Pirate? (linens, tablecloths, the patio...) Also, what's your take on extra lighting? They have those small ceiling lights, but I have no idea how the vibe is at night or if it would be smarter to bring in some additional lighting. Any insight from weddings held at that venue would be super helpful.

Maria Bailey4 said:I think it's kinda dumb too, but hey, he's a free agent in the US right now, so that's a huge win lol 🤣
how's the food though? feels like that's all I care about lately...
Aaron Brown7 said:I don't know, man... fitting 200 people into Las Vegas sounds like a stretch. I'll give you this: the food there is usually pretty good, but I've never been a huge fan of the layout—it feels a bit disjointed. And honestly, once you get past the initial courses, the food quality tends to drop off a cliff.

Wish us luck!
Jesse Barnes8 said:Does anyone know if he does catering gigs? He's incredible.
Jesse Barnes8 said:Not exactly... You can find their info online if you want to browse, or just swing by on a Saturday afternoon to see the vibe for yourself. I'm pretty sure they have a presence on Facebook too...
I've heard they've even added some LED lighting and a bit of a light show lately...
but honestly, the food and the service are in a league of their own!
