My only real hang-up is that whole layout where you have to walk right through the center just to get into the restaurant. It just feels a little off to me, you know? Price-wise, it’s definitely more affordable than the President, though they'd likely try to upcharge us on food and we'd end up needing more chairs too... I'm just going a little crazy because we're still totally indecisive about it all..
We booked sky, and you don't even have to trek through the middle of the building—they have their own elevator right from the garage, so you go straight from the car to the lift and pop out right in the restaurant!
They start with a welcome cocktail, and after that, the sliding glass wall gets shut—guests aren't really supposed to head outside during the night since people smoke indoors (which was a huge requirement for me—I don't want little groups drifting away). There's only one door to the outside if someone absolutely insists on stepping out.
To me, sky is a much better option than the President. That carpet and all the woodwork there? It just doesn't feel "wedding happy" to me—it feels a bit too dark and stuffy. But hey, that’s just my take!
