I was looking through some of the latest updates this morning and it’s crazy how much movement there is before the real season even kicks off. It feels like every time I refresh the news, there’s another name added to the list or some player being moved to a different status. It’s a constant revolving door at this point.

I remember back in the day, you’d have a core group pretty much set, and you'd just wait for the first real game to see how they held up. Now, it feels like the "preparation" phase is just one long series of adjustments. It makes me wonder if these moves are actually strategic or if we're just seeing the fallout of how much physical toll these guys take before they even step onto the field for a meaningful game.

Do you think this much shuffling actually helps a team's depth, or does it just kill the chemistry before it even has a chance to develop?

Hey everyone. 🙂
Got a few more questions popping up. Could really use some help if anyone’s free—would be super grateful.
First things first—anyone actually used Lowe's studio before? Looking for some honest feedback or advice.
Got another shot of a wedding dress from David's Bridal, Sherri Hill:

Anyone know what year this collection is from? Also, any idea where I can actually find it or how the whole process works? 🙂

Third thing—I’ve pretty much tracked down every makeup artist online, but I'm hitting a wall with Sanja Korda, Sanja Krstulović, Goga from San Francisco, Antonija Guć, and Ana Grgić. If anyone has their numbers or links to their portfolios so I can check out their work and see what people are saying, let me know. 🙂

Thanks for all the help and the answers, guys.
Greetings from sunny Manhattan Island.
Ane

A friend of mine used Lowe's for her studio. She's loving it—prices were actually killer.

I've got that link from Ana Grgić.
You can grab the dress from them—website says it's in stock.

I'm glad you got it sorted 👍
Tell me, did you reserve the hall first?

Well, I'm out of the country too. We're living in Germany, so everything is just handled over phone calls and Skype.

Definitely hit the venue first, then everything else. We used a place in Grand Rapids; they hold up to 100 people, and that was literally the only free weekend they had for ages. They stay booked up constantly. Venues with a 100-person capacity are basically the bare minimum because nobody wants to take a small group if they know they can fit 300 in there instead.

Pro tip: ask if your date is available before you even mention the guest count. If you tell them how many people you have first, they might just say "no" because they'd rather save that space for a bigger crowd.

My fiancé and I are thinking about scheduling our wedding for September or October of this year. What do you think—is it too late to start planning now?

Depends on the guest list. We just pulled the trigger on an August date 20 days ago and already have everything set.

How far in advance do I need to order the pastries? 😵😵

Depends on how many tables you’ve got set up and all that.
I'm gonna grab Anna's flower shop. I'll probably get my ass kicked. $200 My bouquet with the ribbons for my godparents. $100 The table setup I’m dreaming of. Just need a slightly bigger table for the kids.

Does anyone have any intel on that new Lily salon in Trilj? I've heard a massive range of conflicting opinions regarding Mili and Brnaza. Is it even worth making the trip out there?

Honestly, no clue. I'm living abroad so I'll just buy mine here, but my friends were obsessing over them, so I helped pick out a few pieces.
Like I said, you're better off going to Mostar 🙂

I was just weighing my options between eating at Grašo or hitting up the Radisson rooftop terrace by the pool.

We actually hosted a party at the Radisson back in October, and honestly? We were blown away. Their whole vibe, the professionalism, the way they handle things... everything was spot on. They checked off every single one of my random requests without breaking a sweat. It was absolute perfection. Highly, highly recommend!

The Radisson was booked up for both our dates, so we ended up going with Grašo instead. It was the only opening they had left.

John Jones12 said:Hi everyone,

Does anyone have suggestions on where to look for bridal jewelry in San Francisco (think necklaces, earrings, or hair accessories)? Thanks in advance.

Zales is the move. Great selection, they're always running sales, and you can find pretty much anything. Especially the one Downtown 😉

gentlewolf70 said:Hey everyone! I'm getting married this November and have a few things I need to figure out:

1. How early should I actually start hunting for a wedding dress? Should I be heading into fittings right now? I know rental prices in San Francisco are going to be higher than somewhere like Sinai, but since David's Bridal carries Pronovias dresses in San Francisco, I'm weighing my options. What has your experience been like with the whole fitting process? Also, does it make sense to opt for a second rental just to save some cash, or is that a waste? And would it be worth driving over to Canada to look?

2. Any shoe recommendations? I'm looking beyond just Ledenko.

3. Cakes and desserts—I'd love your input on quality and pricing. It doesn't have to be limited to San Francisco; I'm interested in anything within the surrounding county.

Thanks! ☕

1. Not too early, just go. A friend of mine started looking in Jan/Feb for a November wedding and it was the smartest move. There's so much stress with everything else, so you might as well use your energy while you're still fresh to find the big thing. 🙂

You've got La Perla and Vesna Sposa. It's definitely worth heading to La Perla in Mostar—way more selection and better prices. Vesna Sposa is okay, but watch out because most of those designer dresses are fakes and the prices are insane. If you see a big name, just be sure it's actually legit...

2. I'm not an expert on shoes. Personally, I think Ledenko is a bit overpriced, but if they can make exactly what you want, go for it. Zara often has nice classic pumps for about $133, so that's a solid deal...

3. For cakes, I'd recommend Zenith. They work for me; their cakes are phenomenal and the prices are good.

Anyone know what the current wedding prices are looking like at Grašo and Cadena?

Thanks
Anthony Morales98 said:Two close friends of mine had weddings there. One was in May, the other at the end of August. What specifically are you looking for?

Generally speaking, the vibe is great. Food's a bit of a step down compared to a deli in Columbus, wine is solid, service is just okay, and you're looking at $40-$50 per person depending on what you order.

The setting is beautiful, but there’s a catch with the layout since it’s basically an outdoor patio for a cafe/restaurant. If you have over 100 guests, half have to sit inside, which makes separating groups tricky—once you split them up, they feel totally disconnected. ☕

The dance floor is split into two levels, so there's space, but again, it's two separate tiers. Same issue with seating. If there's a DJ, one level works fine and stays packed. But if a live band plays, they take up part of the floor, forcing everyone onto both levels. How crowded it feels really depends on the guest count and the crowd.

Thanks for the info...
We're also looking at late August. With 50 people, that's about 6 tables, so we could probably all fit on one patio. We're leaning toward the outdoor vibe anyway.
Mainly wanted to know how people actually felt about it. First the food, then the service, then just the overall vibe.
Thanks for the reply, I'll keep that in mind.
I'm living abroad right now, so it's harder to make calls when I can't just walk over to the restaurant myself...

I was also weighing up Mozart or the Chicago hotel's upper pool terrace.
Anyone been to Microsoft - BENE in San Francisco?
Need some ideas
Planning a small wedding, maybe 50 people tops, and I’m really feeling a terrace vibe. Somewhere in San Francisco or the surrounding Bay Area..
Any recommendations? And if you happen to know prices...

Thanks
The wedding is on August 29th in San Francisco
I need flowers. I’m obsessed with tulips, but I want to mix them with something else.
Anyone have ideas? Also, does anyone know how much tulips go for per stem, or where I can find a good deal in the Bay Area or nearby??

Thanks

Noah Wright4 said:I think you're looking at the daily rental fee for the Getty Center $6667 for just one day. You should also check out the outdoor VIP deck at the Radisson, or maybe Benedikt Restaurant if you're planning a smaller wedding.

Nice.
The Radisson is actually my top pick, especially if the Getty Center is pricey..
Gonna look into Benedikt Restaurant too.. yeah, keeping the wedding small.

Thanks

Timothy Fisher50 said:I was reading somewhere that the rental fee for the Getty Center might actually just cover the space itself $13. It’s basically just you getting the room, and then you have to figure out all the extras on your own—like finding a caterer, setting up the lighting (which is pretty vital since it's such an open layout), and all those other little details...

DAMN. 😁
I was expecting a number, but not *that* high... haha..
Gonna double check the math.....

Just looking for something outdoors—like a terrace or a courtyard.

Anyone been to the Getty Center in San Francisco?
Anyone know what the going rates are for rentals around here?
