Raymond Brooks7 As I was saying:
I was wondering... have they stopped doing deliveries altogether? 🤔 They actually delivered it to me personally—I had to pay an extra delivery fee since the destination was quite a distance from San Francisco... plus, he finished the drop-off right on the spot because everything wouldn't fit properly in the van in one go.

They offer delivery too, but honestly, trying to transport a brittle croquant exactly how I envisioned it felt like a massive gamble on the road. They actually flagged that concern in my email right away, so I didn't want to take any unnecessary risks. Instead, we’ve decided to just order from Bobby, who has a local branch right in the city where our wedding and venue are located. It ended up being more cost-effective and much less stressful, plus I'm confident it'll arrive in one perfect piece before we start slicing it up. 😁

Bobby ... you can actually find their full catalog online here and they also take custom orders.

I once heard a recommendation for Mediterranean Sweets—someone suggested them to me too—but the logistics were a nightmare because getting my specific "croquant vision" delivered from their location was just too far out of the way for me.

At any rate, you can find Bobby on almost every street corner, and even if the wedding isn't being held in San Francisco, they shouldn't have any trouble delivering it straight to the venue.👍

So, what would the final price for a ring set be if we paid cash? Roughly speaking?
We were thinking about something simple—just plain yellow gold without any extra flair. When we were looking around Chicago, the prices ranged from about $3,000 up to $1667. To be honest, at one jeweler, when I went in by myself, the guy told me a pair was roughly $5,500. But then, when I came back with my fiancé, the pair was closer to $1167, and a friend of mine actually paid $2,500 for a pair at that exact same shop last year. 😵

Hey everyone, before I dive into catching up on the last 50 pages of this forum... 🙄🙄🙄 I was wondering if anyone might be able to offer a few recommendations? If you wouldn't mind sending them over via private message, I would truly appreciate it.

I am currently searching for a venue to host a banquet for approximately 250 guests—ideally somewhere with enough breathing room so it doesn't feel cramped. At the moment, I have been looking into the Bolero and Dolis, but I am still very much in the research phase. If anyone happens to have any other recommendations that might suit a group of this size, please do let me know.👍

I'm looking to spend around $2,000—I've been eyeing Barbary, Best, or maybe even Boss. Does anyone have any recommendations for something in that same vein?

Choosing a Photographer—that’s my biggest dilemma right now. I really liked what I saw at Bonačić Studio, but I feel like I should probably check out some other options before making a final call.

Thanks to everyone in advance.

Is there anything more predictably exhausting than the sheer, unadulterated monotony of the local music scene? You’ve got the usual suspects like the Bend-Vino duo and Ivo, Miro Boem, and that whole Aritmija Band mess—it’s almost impressive how they manage to stay so consistently underwhelming. Does anyone actually sit through these sets expecting something halfway decent, or have we all just collectively agreed to lower our standards to rock bottom?
Photographer Marino, smile.

I haven't had particularly great experiences with the Lesnina Band. The ceilings feel quite low, which gives the whole place an unappealing vibe, and honestly, the atmosphere just isn't my style. To make matters worse, if you order a drink, you're often served a subpar wine, and if you try to ask for something else, the waiter just looks at you and says... "trust me, what's on the table is better." 😲
The Vox Box is really starting to make some noise lately. They’re on the verge of a major breakthrough, and honestly, they sound incredible—I’ve actually caught a few of their live sets. Plus, if you're looking to catch some good music without breaking the bank, they're super budget-friendly.
The photography will be handled by the Foto Mix crew—they’re originally from Boise, but they don't mind the drive at all. 🙂 )

I am looking into getting some croquants made. My partner and I are interested in a slightly more unique shape than what you usually see, so I wanted to reach out and see what their offerings look like. Based on some recommendations from other women on this forum, I reached out to Zenit—I've heard nothing but glowing reviews about them from all directions. I spoke with them to explain my idea, and they were very easy to deal with; nothing too complicated, and they confirmed it's doable... though the price was 🙂 ... quite high. So, I'm currently gathering a few different quotes to compare...

Aside from Bobis, Bimita, Mediterranean, and Zenit, does anyone know of any other places that make croquants in the greater San Francisco area?🤔

I actually found it... If anyone else is hunting for Bobis, they still have a website, though Google seems to have buried it deep in the search results.🤦

Thanks, 👍

Does anyone happen to know where I can find the croquant catalog online?☕
My husband and I have come up with this somewhat wild idea regarding how we’d like our croquant to look, so I’m just trying to figure out if it’s actually doable. If not, I’ll need to start looking into some alternatives.
