I just saw that they're training machines to mimic a dog's sense of smell. It's wild to think about sensors being able to detect specific odors as accurately as a canine. Do you think this will actually be useful in everyday life, or is it just overkill?
I would be so grateful if Nicholas Myers could lend me some insight here
Greetings,
I am reaching out because I find myself in need of some expert guidance regarding my recent health readings.
Can it be said with any degree of certainty that I am dealing with Polycythemia vera?
Here is the breakdown of my laboratory results for women:
Erythropoiesis came in at 5.91, which is slightly elevated compared to the 5.08 threshold.
My Hemoglobin is sitting at 165, whereas the upper limit is 157.
Hematocrit is at 0.500, while the range goes up to 0.470.
Platelets are at 356 against a range of 424, so those are perfectly fine.
All my other CBC parameters look quite standard.
The lipid profile is within the normal range.
LDH is 156 compared to a limit of 241, which is normal.
EPO is 6, with the lower bound being 4.
JAK2(V617F) tested negative.
The JAK 2 (exon 12) mutation test via blood was negative.
The CALR mutation test via blood was also negative.
My spleen appears to be completely normal.
Greetings,
How long have you all experienced bleeding from hemorrhoids?
What is the most effective way to get this bleeding under control? I’m not dealing with intense pain at the moment, but the bleeding has been persistent for three days now. On the first day, there was an incredibly heavy amount of bleeding along with my bowel movement, but since then, it hasn't been quite as severe—though I haven't had a bowel movement since. Honestly, I am sitting here trembling, wondering what on earth is going to happen the next time I have to use the restroom. Typically, I experience this bleeding whenever I have three or four watery stools back-to-back within a single hour... interestingly enough, when things are solid, I don't seem to have any bleeding at all.

Personally, I tend to take sixty tablets spread over a two-week stretch. It’s one of those things where you don't feel much happening initially, but then, suddenly, about two weeks in, the relief really starts to kick in and stays with you.
Does taking Detralex cause diarrhea?
And how long does it actually take for hemorrhoids to subside after finishing a two-week course?
Could anyone please recommend a solid hematologist in Miami? I’m looking for someone other than Dr. Madunic, as I understand she is currently unwell and unavailable for appointments right now.
Thanks
I was wondering if anyone might be able to point me in the right direction regarding wedding venues in the San Francisco area or perhaps the surrounding suburbs? I am specifically searching for a location where we could host an outdoor ceremony during the summer months, given how lovely the weather can be. Ideally, I would love some recommendations for high-quality venues that fall within a budget of roughly $50 per person.
Thank you much.
