Borderline. Just 10mg before bed.
Got diagnosed with anxiety right before I hit the border, but after seeing a therapist, they said my depression and anxiety scores were basically hitting the clinical limit.
Plus, I deal with intrusive thoughts and can barely focus on anything.
Never been hospitalized or tried anything drastic, though.

Currently on Ad Ladiomil, Lexapro, and Valium.

Used to take 100mg of Prazin at night, but switching over to Olexar now.

Thanks for the replies!

Been on this AP for 5 days now, hopefully I start feeling better soon... 🙂

Hey,
My doctor just added 10mg of Olanzapine at night to my current meds.

How long does it actually take for an AP like this to really kick in and start working consistently, rather than just making me sleepy right after I take it? Thanks

Hey guys. I'm 26 and been fighting all sorts of demons since I can remember.

Started out with anxiety, depression, OCD stuff...
Lots of testing, seeing different Psychiatric doctors, a messy home life, blah blah...

Anyway, after doing a couple of MMPI tests and some psych evaluations, it turns out it’s Borderline Personality Disorder.
Not exactly easy to swallow, but yeah, it's what it is.

In the past, I tried tons of SSRIs—didn't do much—and things like Prazin too.

Until recently, my meds were 25mg Lamictal three times a day, 3mg Ativan three times a day, plus Prazin 25mg whenever needed (literally anywhere from 0 to 6 or 7 pills a day).

Now my Psychiatric doc switched me over to 0.5mg Klonopin three times a day to see if it works better than the Ativan. Supposedly this anti-epileptic should help chill me out and stabilize my mood.

Anyone know if there's an issue taking Ativan and Klonopin together?

Probably fine, but honestly I might not even catch her to ask since I'm leaving the country soon for work and won't be back until next year...

Once I'm back, the plan is to start tackling my issues with Zyprexa.

Thanks for any help

Justin Rogers5 said:Went to a birthday party once and asked my therapist if I could have one beer since I'm on antidepressants. She basically said, "Sure, go for three." Well, I had one, they ate all my dinner, and I definitely wasn't drunk. Then middle of the night hits, and this nausea kicks in so hard I thought I was actually dying.🙂

It's crazy how different our bodies and minds all are...

I was on Lexapro back then and had a few drinks too. Never really felt any side effects... I know what I was doing wasn't exactly smart, but hey, you live and learn.

Thanks!

Never had any skin stuff at all. Biggest issue was just feeling like it wasn't really working when I was on it.

Anyone have thoughts on Ladiomil? Thinking about using it for anxiety, panic attacks, focus issues, and social phobia.

EDIT: If I take it along with Lexapro

Timothy Wood38 said:If we're talking about a standard urine screen, then yeah, they typically check for both benzodiazepines and barbiturates. And just to confirm, Lexapro is indeed a benzodiazepine and falls squarely into the anxiolytic group.

My doctor mentioned that even though Lexapro and Xanax are both in the benzo family, she doesn't view Lexapro as a true anxiolytic compared to Xanax...
Now the news is talking about banning antidepressants, anxiolytics, and amphetamines...

Either way, this sucks. I'm gonna have to ditch the Lex too and that's gonna be hell. Even just 1.5mg makes me feel human again... damn ☕

Thanks for the reply, not much else to say

Hey, just wondering if anyone knows... Does a standard drug test (like one for a new job) usually screen for benzos? From what I can see, they're listed as drugs... Also, does Lexapro count as an anxiolytic?
Asking because my potential employer's policy seems to think people on anxiety meds aren't a good fit for this role...
I've been trying to get off some other sleep aids for this gig, but honestly, without my usual stuff, I'm gonna struggle to stay afloat...
